I had no iea that bell peppers contained more vitamin C than orange juice 🙌🏼🤍 ! Thank you for sharing that! The green ones I hear or just unripe, and due to that contains a bit less nutrients.

I make my own gochujang and it got no salt in it. It does however got a whole lot of sugar, the store bought one. When i make my own i replace the brown sugar syrup with apple sauce. Bibimbap is easy to make at home with your leftover veggies add a touch of gochujang and mix it all. Normally the koreans add sesame oil but i omit it.

The one I buy certainly has too much sodium; kudos to you for making your own! Mine does not have a lot of added sugar though; 3gr or 6% DV for 1 tablespoon, and I almost never would use that much per serving. For sure no oil needed!

What a joy to have Melissa back :D That's so cool that she studied in Japan for a year and a half! I did the same, for about half that amount of time :) absolutely love Asian food, especially with a Korean and/or Japanese flair :) what a beautiful, great demonstration

Garlic can be whitened by using chlorine or with a mixture of sulphur and wood ash. Whitening garlic helps to make it look healthier and more attractive to consumers. In fact this obsession with white foods has lead to the bleaching of many food products (flour, salt, sugar) using chlorine dioxide or benzoyl peroxide.

Love the plant based recipes. Thank you! I don’t eat soy, what would be a good substitute? I’m loving Medical Medium’s books and the focus is plants heal. He has a wonderful podcast on the root cause to cancer - search that online. His other podcast on Epstein-Barr (the root to cancer) podcast goes to the root as to how it all came about. Much love to all the beautiful plant based oil free recipes! Yay! Btw- medical medium in his celery juice book he talks about what table salt or even the sea salts do in the body. He says dehydration and toxins going into organs. His books are very interesting , for sure! Thank you for plowing the way to help so many heal.

I have done research on this, but I would welcome seeing yours. Not sure how much garlic you'd have to consume for it to have toxic effects. According to Dr. Gregor it's the most cancer-fighting vegetable.
