  • Due to the wet Summer some of the Mullyang Bushcare Group were back a month early at the Tugalong section of Guula Ngurra National Park to do some weeding around the Community Hub.
There was way too much to do in one session with the small group that came out.
I took the opportunity to come out early & hang around after to do some walking.
Guula Ngurra never disappoints with wildlife.
Cormobates leucophaea (White-throated Treecreeper), Dromaius novaehollandiae (Emu) & Neochmia temporalis (Red-browed Finch) in the morning, followed by Chelodina longicollis (Eastern long-necked turtle), Tachybaptus novaehollandiae (Australasian Grebe) & Pseudonaja textilis (Eastern brown snake) in the afternoon.
