Can you believe it-he loves people who give back handed compliments from podiums too. Isn’t God good-he’s so much more merciful than we thought! If you think you can pull it off and give a sermon about ugly more power to you -you did it for Jesus and that’s all that matters.
In our natural sinful state, we ALL, as fallen humanity are ugly! It's only when we encounter Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit begins to sanctify us that we are beautified by God. The Lord promises in His Word, He will make all things beautiful in His time. The ugliness of sin can not be covered up by makeup, fancy clothes, power, status, position or any other worldy means...... Only the Lord most High can exchange the ugliness of sin and transform it into the beauty of His holiness.
