That's a glitch we call the Neon Switch, which allows us to save our second Neon Shot while doing other things, like using different weapons without losing the Neon

The Violen deaths cost about ~2:06, plus elevator skip cost 0:18 - the time would've been a 41:34 without those mishaps. Either way, great run!
I imagine using the sub tank would be risky because he wouldn't be able to fill it by the time he gets to the last fight.
I never knew that it was possible to get the X-Buster upgrade without any power ups. Awesome!
Me neither. I spent almost forty minutes trying for it with the grapple hook from wire sponge.

It was going so well and then it just... didn't. Friggin' Violen. That's where it all started. Overall, still a great run, but it could have been so amazing.

Is it just me, or was mmx2 made easier in terms of bosses? Am I seeing single buster shots doing two bars of damage to some early bosses? :o
I'm fairly sure the reason for that is either he uses the dash before he shoots or he is charging the buster long enough to do more damage but too little to change the animation, whichever it is he explains it at the start of the run.
That's just what they're referring to as "dash lemons" where uncharged buster does 2 damage while dashing.

It's a precise jump from the right wall to the ledge that you would usually grab onto. It's pretty tricky, but possible.

My whole life and childhood i deemed impossible to get the buster upgrade without getting the air dash... ive tried countless times to just dash off the wall and this dude just does it np seriously wth man! At least now i know its possible XD

All GDQ runs are done on original hardware.
