They don't set this kind of things, BUT I think they know how to react to this situations to make it feel entertaining.

They plan some of the things or give other person a brief idea what's going to happen
They are all top talented improv artists. Doing all this on the fly is in their blood. I don't really see any choroeography. Hololive just sets up the major collabs.

As far as i know Subaru plan to have a collab with Rushia and Luna to build their rooms, Rushia being the only official member of Oozora kensetsu and Luna since Subaru is pretty close with Luna with all the SubaLuna collabs, Luna is a keeper, lowkey great at minecraft she have this elaborate underground structure that even Aqua the queen of underground structure highly praise
A major surprise would be Haachama. If Aqua is the master of underground, Haachama is the master of the skies.
