Salam aleykum sis, well said, I really cannot stress enough the importance of being able to put a meal together for your family.. there are so many easy recipes easily available at this day and age.. please get yourself the basic ingredients and get cooking 💗 I understand it can be difficult if you are also working, you can make a bigger batch and freeze a few portions to defrost at your convenience. Pro tip: master one dessert that can be switched up easily so you can prepare it in different variations from time to time. Mine is a classic sponge cake that you can just personalise in so many ways. One time you can add spices, next time add some citrus zest, or even add some chocolate powder.. and may Allah SWT keep our marriages grounded ameen 🙌

I think the problem is men often don’t change after marriage, they still act and think like a single person. Sometimes it makes it hard because you feel like as the wife you are doing your part and changing to fit into his world, whereas he hasn’t changed much🤷🏽‍♀️. Even with communication, I think it’s the comprehension that’s important, you can communicate all you want but if the person doesn’t listen or see it as a issue, then what’s the point.

Get married by a man who your heart feels right with. Don't marry with the hopes of changing a man. If he's not exactly what Allah describes in the Quran and you've seen the signs of him getting bored with u sometimes or not caring enough to communicate or they still think about stuff that make you uncomfortable , these are signs not to continue with them. The biggest mistake is ignoring them hoping they'll change. People don't change. Either you're an improving person at a fast rate or a slow rate. A man should be better than women in manners so that wives can look upto them for better growth and getting closer to Allah. Anything short of this, don't settle for it.

Please give us reality checks 😅and also please share any book recommendations (pre marriage) in order to make the marriage more blissful . Please share us marriage tips also. One thing that work for me was, what I wanted in a man I must have those qualities too, pray to Allah and seek help from surrounding family and friends if they know someone ready to get married and most importantly get all the knowledge about marriage, rights and duties of man and woman in marriage, self analyse like who are you and how are you around people. Go to muslim event

@Sadaf Ahmed I have tried all of the above and this isn't true. You eventually have just give in, as it will destroy you psychologically. There are no good men left, its qadar, Allah swt doesn't give to everyone. We have to accept this. Sad so sad, but this is reality..... Allah hu Alam

May Allah ease the struggle. There is no one place to go pick a husband, every married woman will have her story of how she met her husband so just make use of people you engage with and as Allah wills, it will happen.
Furthermore, finding a man is not difficult but finding the right one for you is the challenge for some. May Allah ease everyone’s struggle.

can't explain how helpful this is! We always see vids on how to find someone but never on how to prepare for this new phase.
You're definitely right that it will take a lot of patience and understanding, I heard recently that married people are more empathetic and see the perspective of others better than unmarried people and it definitely makes a lot of sense having seen this video - may Allah allow us to be effective communicators with our spouses and be kind and compassionate to one another, Ameen!

As-Salaamualaykum and ✌️Peace! Sister Nafisa please remember to say In'shaa'Allah regarding your next videos. There are Muslim marriage websites but some charge fees. One problem I have with one is that it has the option to chat alone with each other before getting the Wali involved, which allows Shaytan to be the third person in their communications of getting to know one another. And that is not a good way to start the marriage process. So fear Allah and seek out halal ways to get to know your potential spouse. May Allah guide and help us get and stay in a satisfactory marriage that is best for our Dunya and our Akhira Aameen ya Rabbil'Alamin 🤲🥰.

My husband was wonderful but after we had children he was like they were his children. I told them it was bedtime and he said they could stay up. I said they need a bedtime. He just flipped and hit me. The neighbors called the police and they sent me to ER with the children in an ambulance. Saudi men don’t want to feel like their word is challenged. 🤷🏻‍♀️🇺🇸🇸🇦
