Like our previous finals team virtually everything must go right.
For DAL it's all about health. With health, this team can play with anyone. Period. They have youth, athleticism, size, interchangeable parts and a pair of superstars. It just comes down to health. Kyrie is obvious but two others are key. Maxi being healthy makes DAL so much bigger as the 4, 5 in a small ball lineup. His presence eases everything along the frontline. Exum is more critical than folks may believe, too. He's a legit, third ballhandler and another legit defender. His presence lightens the load on Luka/KAI. If DAL doesn't believe he'll be able to recover and carry that role, a third ballhandler from the buyout market is key. I don't fear anyone in the West right now. That isn't to say we're the favorites now but I have no problem envisioning this squad winning the West.

Just looked it up and they have a bunch of cheap seats available FOR THEIR MASSIVE SLOVENIAN POPULATION (80,000!!!!!!!!). That place will be ROCKING!!!!!!!! The real fans will be cheering for Luka that night.
People forget that Kyrie and Luka have only played about 49 or 50 games together since they brought Kyrie in.
I said this at the start of the year, that if you give them at least 1 full season together, they would do amazing things. Its starting to look like I was right hahaha
Health is wealth! These guys are like a well oiled machine and as Coach Jason said they are enjoying each other, the game and the fans love it! Kyrie and Luka are overlooked and with these new lineup and chemistry Dallas Mavericks will make a loud noise come play-offs. GO MAVS!
@MavsTV ydays game is a prime example of why I said that you had Maxi rated too low when you guys said he was the 11th most important player. His versatility will let the Mavs go big with him next to Lively/ Gafford or Small with him at the 5. His importance is under rated.
To compete with the elite teams they will need their support guys to step up big with defense and hustle play. Green, Exum, Hardy, Jones, Kleber would need help set and maintain the tone n effort. They can if they gel together, absolutely

I believe we have a similar roster compared to the 2011 roster,so yes I definitely believe that we can win a championship with our current roster. This roster may be even a tad bit better also imo.
To make a deep playoff run they need at least one of each player per position to have a competitive night.
Lol, why does it always have to be backhanded compliments when talking about kyrie? The injuries this season due to Powell and LeBron were completely out of his control, I just wish we'd give the man his flowers and keep it moving.

Health. This road trip will be acid test no.1, but the real test will come with Kai or Luka's next injury. Without Exum or Dinwiddie, the backcourt depth is Timmy and Hardy.
Even if Thj gets cold for playoffs 8 man roster playing time those are moments we can look to Exum
I hope Hardy doesn’t get overlooked w/ all that’s going on. He looked upset at times during the suns game. When THJ is having an off night put Hardy in. He’s the 3rd most efficient player on the team behind Kai & gafford. Let him play j Kidd!!!

Nobody has forgotten how we didn't have any legit player at the 5 last year. We literally looked hopeless against the Hornets with all the injuries at the end.
