Just loved your way of sharing your supply favorites....so inviting and motivating. And I, too, love your Christmas tree - new subscriber and so looking forward to following you and your content. Have a wonderful holiday, even though working. 🌲
thank you so so much for the kind words! makes me so happy and I'm very motivated and excited to share future content with you 🥰✊🏼have a wonderful holiday too!
Thank you for sharing your favorites in this lovely video. Your paintings are beautiful! I've subscribed and I can't wait to watch your videos in 2024.
Thanks. This is an interesting and well explained video of your choices. The De Atrementis document ink is good, comes in some lovely colours which are all intermixable and is - in my experience- less prone to clog pens than others. I look forward to your next video.
thank you for the suggestion! I've seen many artists using this brand and I'm planning to pick up one or two to try when i travel next year 💕thank you!!
thank you so much! yeah I understand what you mean, fountain pens can be so confusing and they all come with their own unique problems, depending on the ink and paper🥹 i hope you find the right pen!
True!@@ultramarine_finest At least you seem to be using pens in a similar way I'd like to and you mentioned 'feedback' with the paper. Much appreciated! Do you have ink converters for these pens?
@@context_curated :) yeah i use converters for all these pens mentioned in the video. I also have a twsbi eco that comes with a build in converter, but it feels a bit different...maybe it's the weight distribution that makes it ever so slightly top heavy. im still getting used to it :p
Nice calm review ❤I also recently bought Hahnemuhle expression paper for very good price. 🥰Oil pastels are my one love medium, but I prefer Carand'ache brand.
thank you! i have a few carand'ache's neocolor 2 crayons, but i never tried their oil pastel, i heard that they are velvety... would love to try them someday!
oh i just checked my store and it's true! i totally missed it because their smallest size is 24x30cm🥹thank you for the suggestion, i will try it in the future 🤗
hi! im glad you liked it:) I cut the paper in half and made a crease in the centre (vertical cut for portrait format and horizontal cut for landscape format), then i used the french link stitch to bind them together :p after that, i thought it would be cool to use its original cover as the sketchbook cover. i know this probably didn't help much but maybe i can make a video in the future to show you how i did it 😊
omg omg omg, I love the white watercolour palette so so much! It's such a vibe.
yeah i know, it really is! :p i love it 🥹
Love it art, wish I could see more of ur watercolor process videos ❤
thank you! i would love to that 😊

Good to know! Vert difficult to choose these things when you can’t see them first in person!
yeah I wish more stationery stores let people try out different pens and nibs and inks etc🥺
@@ultramarine_finest the shop you showed with paper testing looks fantastic!
@@ultramarine_finest it's a fact though that art is a trial and error sport! LOL
@@context_curated so true!
@@context_curated yeah i am so glad they let people do that!
Thank you - I enjoyed your review - ❤
thank you so much! im glad :p
the video is so well made I assumed you had thousands of subscribers until i went to like and there were only 40 likes! lovely video
aww thank you that's so sweet of you 🫶💕im really glad you enjoyed watching
Really lovely video! Also I have watched so many fountain pen videos researching and trying to decide- this one really made sense to me! Thank you.

The Hahnemuhle expressions paper is 100 % cotton and the similar price to the harmony.

I’m going to try sketching with my 1.5nib, I don’t think I have touched them in a while. Also they have a 1.9 that I’m very curious about
oh thats sounds great! i tried their 1.9 but the ink flow is a bit slow for me, maybe a more *fluid* ink could work better!
Hi, love this video but how did you cut that huge watercolour block into 2 pads? It's such a great idea! 🎉

@ultramarine_finest oooohhh!!! I just thought you cut the block in half somehow in one go! This is so much more complicated! Well done!👏👏👏
oohhh haha that would be difficualt to achieve 😛thank you!@@BunnyOnTheCoast
What did you use to modify the mixing wells on your Schmincke palette? I've been considering something similar but can't decide how to do it 😅
it's a plastic stick that was filed to fit the shape of the pallete and then glued on it :p
Smart! It looks much neater than some of the methods I've seen, I think I'll go for something similar :)
@@FaerieDust good luck! hope it turns out well :)
