After this fight, I believe Mendoza will get a few more chances. He’s gonna be the guy that you have to beat to even think about a title fight. A Gabe Rosado type.

Great fight. Mendoza is tough!!! Good for Tszyu to step in w someone who isnt completely overwhelmed by his power. He'll need more than just power to compete at elite levels.
He honestly only just needs to work being a better finisher as he can get a little reckless when he has his opponent hurt. There were opportunities for him to go to the body more, but he is getting so much better each fight he'll no doubt one of the best finishers in the division.

Brian gave it all he got, great heart, solid chin, Tim just & shoulders above him. Charlo gonna come up with some reason not to fight him, but id love to see the match ups between him & Castano & Fundra
Porter's right, Tszyu will have difficulties with Crawford's style. His head movements and footwork need to improve first. He might have fighting chance against Spence but even that, Spence probably has a slight edge at this point.
Fundora also gets knocked out by both they are much better than Tim, Fundora and Mendoza level, reach wont help him vs Spence, Crawford will counter him to pieces.
Some of that was his counter punching against a slower fighter he doesn’t move his feet so his defense will always be limited Especially when he’s attacked on angles
Tszyu will wipe the floor with Charlo. Charlo will need to pull out a type of performance he's never pulled out before. I'm actually starting to really appreciate the skill and subtle artistry of Tszyu. Tim Tzsyu systematically picked Mendoza apart one piece at a time. It looked like he was just toying with and carrying him all twelve rounds just to beat him all night. All you seen all night is Mendoza's head popping back.😅😅😅
Only you would believe that. Brian cracked his head several times. If Tim could’ve put him away …he would have. Your fooling yourself big time to hype up your guy. It was a great match. Tim got the best of him…that’s it
I hope this helps folks contextualize Tszyu's power, bc if he had the kind of pop that people credit him with, Mendoza would have been in the front row by the sixth round. Tim was landing full extension, fully planted, full follow through bombs, and Mendoza just soaked them. And it's not like Mendoza's not tough, but some guys go their whole careers without landing shots this clean in a title fight, and Tim just could not get more than a stagger out of him. It was a good showing by Tszyu, though, more composed than normal, only left his chin hanging out a few times, an improvement across pretty much all measures. Figures he fights well, and goes the distance with a tough opponent, and people are on here complaining he's been exposed.
