Very beautiful rendering of the raga with a very chaste presentation of the kriti. The pronounciation and the clarity was so good that we can even write down the notation. The percussion was more than perfect and took the entire presentation to a greater height.

If you want to test the talent of a singer the scale is RITHIGOWLA & if he/she sings this Raagam with good San gash is, they are great. This boys Alabama is superb than the main Kriti as pakka vadhyam dominates. This boy has a high potential. My best wishes.

To all those commenting that Sri RKM sang the kriti in a faster pace, i urge you to listen to Sangita Kalanidhi Sri GNB's recording of the same. It's my personal opinion that Rithigoula rendered in any pace will yield pleasure if Bhavam isn't sacrificed.

Raaga aalapanai is very brilliant!!.... but Kriti is rendered in a fast pace which has spoilt the beauty of Reetigowla... Didn't expect this from a very traditional singer like Ramakrishnan Moorthy
Percussion was suppressed too much in favor of vocals. It would have been more enjoyable if percussion too was given the importance it deserved in recording. Even so, a thoroughly enjoyable rendition. Great future to this young singer!
