The reason I am optimistic is because the truth has a funny way of winning in the end. It might take a while, there may be bumps in the road, but the race is not for the swift. It is for those who can endure. And I think your contributions will help in a small way to get us there.
Of course I did not mean it is never going to get better. Based on experience it always will. I merely meant based on the past years and how the policies are at the moment I do not see any possibility of change. That will most likely change in the future.

Just found your channel today after an atheism binge. Went from Ricky Gervais to Stephen Fry and here I am. Really enjoyed this video. I'm an atheist now, formerly Muslim but will defend the innocent from rampant Islamophobia that we see in the West today. Rare to see people speak about Western greed and intervention and how that might have helped escalated extremist fanatical aggression in the Middle East to how things are today. Most people in the West just don't want to think about it. But these hard truths are the facts you need to know to understand the world and how it works, and from there we can go on to solve some of the most pressing issues of today. Thanks for the education!

Went on a trip to promote peace in the Middle East, after I got there things went bad so Iran , Syriaiously the hate over there Isreal . When I got back a friend asked is it really that bad? All I could say is Yeaman, Islamisbad .

Don't get me wrong, I like the US, but to me the christian influence in politics there is scary! I think everyone should be free to believe whatever they want of course, but religion should never be mixed with politics or in schools for that matter, that is where I draw the line!
Btw, you are welcome to Sweden if atheism would be a problem for you some day. 77% of us do not follow a religion, which I find is one of the best things about my country.

But I figure it's worth a shot to assist you in your understanding of a few *KEY* points which I believe are fundamental/essential to understand everything else you discuss in the video... The CIA is basically a foreign actor! It's a private organization my friend! Loyal to no flag or ideology. This makes them a major threat to American foreign policy objectives! Practically every time you refer to "the US" in this video, you really meant to say "The CIA" which is far from the same thing although the mainstream media (also private organizations) would have you believe it is one in the same!
*EDIT*:: Not to mention the 2 party system, really one party when it comes down to foreign policy.. Especially with regards to the military industrial complex, and protecting business interests.. Oil and opium are the main resources that our military has become private militias for the highest bidder to protect...
This of course is still somewhat of an over simplification in the grand scheme of things, but it's perhaps the best I can do in a youtube comment...
I hear what you say about Islamophobia, and I agree that a lot of it is pure racism. My auntie and cousins converted to Islam back in the 90s, and it has always been an ideology that I have objected to, mainly on the basis of how women are treated.
They are all white, and still subscribe/submit to Islam. That’s fine with me, but suppression of criticism of its Islamic doctrines seems to be standard by which current media label bigots.
At the moment it seems there’s little we can do, without being labelled as racists.

I always thought oil and power was behind these problems. It is brave of this man to publicly speak. Ik his life is probably in danger for sharing these ideas. I would like to read the CIA documents regarding what happened in the 70s. This whole thing is tragic. It makes me sad for all mankind. Follow the money is always the right answer n the only way to see the truth. What a shame. I feel we are doomed as a species.

The Muslim sources even go out of their way to remind us how white Muhammad was. They frequently reference the whiteness of his various body parts-something that was not mentioned about any other prophet, from Abraham to Zachariah.
