Just wanted to thank Josh, his overview videos helped my wife and I decide on which tub we wanted to buy, we considered Hot Springs Envoy, Prism and then after seeing this video of the Cantabria, we called the closest dealer and put a deposit on it... In my opinion this has the best of both worlds of the Envoy and Prism, with the Cantabria having the extra "Captains" seat, easier ingress with the cool down seat, in the Same footprint of the Prism... Just make sure you upgrade to 70 amp service (50 Amp standard) for the tub, otherwise the heater will shut off with the 3 jet pump turned on.. you SOLD us and helped make our decision, also you are an asset to the Caldera/Hot Springs family in my opinion.. even though we have never met, I wanted to say Thank You Josh, From Rick and Beth in Connecticut
@@duhdonutman5661 love it. Very easy to maintain. I’m lucky my water levels are perfect straight from the tap. Once the salt system gets going. There almost nothing to do. At least for me. I clean the filters once every 2-3 months. Check the water bimonthly. Only thing I add is deodorizer and it doesn’t even need it. Water is perfectly clear. We use it easily 2-3 a week Each. Had a party with about 7 people in it at one time. After everyone left did a clean cycle. Boosted the salt system. Still same water unchanged from last year.
We are up in Northwest Indiana there are no hot tub companies that I'm comfortable with from sales to service I am 3 hours from terre haute Indiana I found backyard leisure right here with Josh we have been talking to our sales rep Adam we will buy a hot tub from backyard leisure I wish they were in Chesterton Indiana you are a fantastic company❤

Hey Matthew, the tub in the video is Tuscan Sun shell and Brownstone cabinet. Color choices are purely a matter of preference and I've had different colors over the years depending on the surroundings I was trying to match.
I see you have sold Hot Springs and Caldera Spas Hot tubs. Do you still sell both? We have been looking at the Hot Springs highlife Grandee and the Caldera Spas Utopia Niagara. My understanding is that Watkins manufactures both and looking at all the details and specs they use essentially the same stuff. Have the same optional accessories and tend to have comparable levels and models. the difference seems to really come down to layout and the jets and a few "preference" items. My question to you is how would you compare the two brands, am I missing something, is one built better, easier to get parts for? Do you still sell both brands? the MSRP are similar, with the Hotsprings being about $1k more, but also slightly bigger than the Niagara, the Moto Massage DX on the Grandee seems appealing. I'm just looking for a dealer that sells both to give me an unbiased comparison between the two brands and Highlife vs Utopia series.
Yes, we still sell both brands. Quality, support and parts availability are equal. You are correct that the decision comes down to some personal preference, but there are quite a few differences between Highlife and Utopia. If you sit in both the Grandee and the Niagara, you'll notice that the seating design is very different. The Grandee is more of an open, bench-seating design while the Niagara has deep, sculpted bucket seating. The Utopia series has a more comprehensive jetting package, but, to your point, the MotoMassage DX makes a compelling case and does deliver a particular massage experience that you can't get anywhere else. The Highlife also has a few unique features that justify the slightly higher cost; polymeric framing, no-bypass filtration, Tri-X filters, etc. They're both great tubs that will last a long time, so I would highly recommend wet testing both if possible. If you can, I think you'll be able to make your decision within a few minutes.
A high-quality and well-insulated tub like the Cantabria is always going to be quieter than some lower-end competitors. That being said, if we have 73 jets on high, with the air turned on, we are creating quite a bit of water turbulence and some level of sound is unavoidable. At about 12:45 in this video, I have all three pumps on and you can get a pretty good idea of what it sounds like.

Hello there! Quick question about the Cantabria Coverlift 3 or 4. We are working with a tight space and would like to know if the cover can be installed on either side or does it have to go on the back of the spa? We are looking to have it open to the front by the display. Thank you!
Hi Tiffany, the cover that comes with the Cantabria folds on the long dimension and typically goes off the back, however it is possible to mount it "backwards" so that it folds to the front. The only complications are that it makes it difficult to reach the control panel when you're not inside of the tub and the ProLift III would have to be removed to gain service access. Additionally, in situations where the customer needs the cover to fold off to one of the short sides, we order custom "opposite-fold" covers.

To get a short-side cover, your dealer would need to order a custom cover from an aftermarket manufacturer. (This would probably incur some additional cost.) In order to to use any ProLift, that custom cover would need to have "Caldera plates" installed, because their cover assists are the only ones that actually bolt into the cover. If you would like more clarification on that, feel free to call me at 833-4-HOTTUB Ext. 13.
Hello again, Josh! We officially have our cantabria! We are using it 2-3 times a day right now. We have the salt system on a level 10 and it still isn't creating chlorine. I'm still having to add a capful of granules. Do you know how long it takes for the salt system to take over? Is it possible we have a bad salt cell 🤔
