Differences:
Sound effects missing from intro and it cuts too early.
Music is slightly different.
Giant Cheep Cheep lacks sound.
Boos sound different.
Swooper crate lacks sound.
Different item box placement and more item boxes. (?)
Unused boo sprite.
basabasa_64, and hyudoro_waterB were removed from the final version.

@GiygasLittleHelper 'basabasa_64' is the beta version of the Swooper object. It's not used in the actual course, but it appears in the MapObjs.
'hyudoro_waterB' is a water texture.
