Also, an insight to Rivers of Nihil's album, 'Where Owls Know my Name' The lyrics tell the story of the last man alive on earth, and how he gradually loses his grasp on his own humanity, and becomes one with nature before his own death.
Jesus Christ this song hits all the sweet spots. Guitar , drums , vocals , sax, bass, I definitely hope to see more reactions from this band in the near future.
I’m so glad to hear you and see you say that! It’s what makes this whole journey worth it. We put out what we believe is the most authentic experience we could possibly have listen to music together and we’re getting sent back words of encouragement and inspiration to reach further, farther, and deeper with everyone. Thank you so much for contributing as much as you do here. It’s seen and it matters so much. Much love from South Florida. Rich
You'll have to check out the title track of this album, "Where Owls Know My Name". The music video was amazing, was one of my top 5 videos of last year. I think you would enjoy the song more than this one, it has more elements that you tend to enjoy.
They sing a bit on that album. Their song "Where Owls Know My Name" has a really funny music video to it. I think you guys would like that one as well.
Just saw them a couple of weeks ago in Austin and they did the whole "where owls know my name" cd in its entirety ... amazing band as well... thank for doing one from them
Seeing these guys in a few weeks along with Allegeon, Caligula's Horse and Ne Obliviscaris amongst others. Enjoyed your reaction. Try The Smoke of Many Fires by Be'lakor. Lyric video.
Heck yes you guys rock!!! Thank you for taking my suggestion, now for a band both you guys have done. Periphery just released an album last week. There is a track that’s 17 minutes long you guys might want to check out. It’s a prog Metal modern classic called “Reptile” literally maybe the greatest piece of music written in years and the album as a whole, definite album of the year vibes. It takes you on a journey. Thanks guys keep up the good work, and lastly my condolences on the individuals funeral you guys attended. You don’t ever have to apologize just keep doing what you do. You guys give a great example of how my wife and I want to be in our relationship, very raw and real. We are in our 20s and I’m sure you’ve touched others along the way so thank you.
Please react to #slugdge Salt Thrower Slugdge is a "meme" band, that bases their lyrics off slugs, and other mollusks, but in a very interesting, thought-provoking way. They are a death metal band out of the UK, and their musicianship is amazing. I hope you enjoy
"Where owls" is a great album and this is one their better tracks easily. Again, the brutal vocals just match the music's brutality. Double bass is all over death metal and there is even faster action with bands like Nile, Obscura, Alkaloid and many others. Keep exploring. Try Nile for egyptian inspired lyrics but it is very techy and brutal. #nile lashed with the slave stick or #obscura septuagint

I'm not big on "thrash metal" but this was interesting. Awesome drummer. I'd need Tylenol after a concert featuring them. But I'd definitely ROCK out! KEEP KISSING! Peace! :)
LOL, Facundo... I'm so dang old the only genre I had back in the day was Rock n Roll. All these new fangled "so-called" Metal this... Metal that... LOL, Phooey! :)

That makes a lot of sense, I’m glad I saw your comment! Thank you!
This song is from one of the best albums of 2018, for sure.
Jen G. You're damn right, Jen.
My ex, and my friend never liked anything from Nihil that I recommend. Really hurt me
You got me to listen to zeal and ardor's strange fruit on another rivers of nihil video and I'm really liking it so cheers for the recommendation
It's always so funny when I run into your comments on random ass videos. Makes my day.
Jordan Bowlin Hahaha. So glad you texted me about you finding this. I needed a reminder how small the world is. 😊
