Another myth people have is that places like Nana Plaza, Bangla Road and Soi Six make up a majority of Thailand. No, those are very specific areas that provide those kinds of services.
Thanks for this. I have been living in Samutprakarn for the last 12 years and I can tell you even in the heart of the tourist neighborhoods, it is difficult to find English speakers. The ones who can make money off you are the most likely. Fortunately most pharmacists speak it. My neighborhood for several miles around has only one foreigner, that being me. I speak a little Thai but have never had a problem with anyone here. Very safe. If someone wants to teach English, other than international schools, the schedule starts in May unlike western schools that begin in the fall.
5:02 if anyone is serious about working here, you need to be looking from Bangkok to Rayong down the Eastern economic corridor, multinational companies are looking for skilled and educated English speakers, most of these roles are being filled by Filipinos and Indians because there aren’t many westerners applying. These jobs pay competitively (to at least Australia)
@@oghenekevweokugbeni6672 I suggest you check out videos of an American RUclipsr, Javonne Jay. She just accepted a teaching job in Bangkok. She recently moved from US and got her condo in Bangkok. She seems to be very nice young lady.
Tony, i really couldn't stop laughing. You are so right spot on . The most dangerous thing i find is the crazy drivers . 😅
Thumbs up 👍 Tony
