23:30 I've basically been treating the Welkin bundle like a monthly subscription - get one, don't get another until the previous one expires, accumulate the primogems until the banners I really want come up (which practically meant saving for three months and then dumping it all on C1 Furina). I find that actually does a very good job of preventing me from getting tempted because every time I look at the top up packs I think "yeah, but this is *so cost-inefficient* compared to the Welkin bundle".

Kazuha, Bennet, Ganyu, and Beidou is my primary team; there is almost no synergy other than always having the perfect parry for Beidou and clumping enemies for Ganyu's taunt but honestly, its gotten me through literally every boss fight except for Scara sooooooo
Lisa is niche but good when you have her maxxed, but being a standard banner character you'll like, never get there before you have any specific banner character maxxed
Lisa's issue is that she's high investment and it takes a minimum of 2 years to reach that investment level, unless you get ridiculously lucky on standard.
Lisa is really good, however she needs c6 to function properly, instead of starting functional and getting better. She is really good for Aggravate if you have enough er for her burst. Unironically, I was randomly putting characters into comps and Lisa - Raiden - Nahida - Yelan was bullshit strong, with Lisa getting near 400k E's and her burst being insane for aggravate.
Even if genshin "dies", I don't think it's going to, they MIGHT make a "Genshin Impact 3" or something like that. (I know it might not be the case, because Honkai and Genshin are being developed by different teams, despite being from the same company, but If I were then, I woudn't let the game "die", since, TO THIS DAY, it still is a popular game).
I think it generates too much revenue to truly die. If that revenue gets cut I'm sure they'll have some sort of QOL features brought in or some popular reruns of characters like Eula to reignite interest.
At this point, has Hoyoverse closed any game they’ve made to date? They’re even maintaining Tears of Themis with updates as recently as a month or two ago, and they’ve got ZZZ on the way… and they still refer to themselves as “tech otakus”, so I feel like they can be trusted to run their games as long as any company.
It might have been done tastefully enough. I'm curious about the terms and conditions of a Genshin sponsorship, when I feel comfortable and large enough I'll probably reach out to them and read the paperwork.

It feels like a similar situation with raid shadow legends, most people have to read it line by line while others get to be more flexible, theses kinds of companies are just weird about it
Its not that Lisa is bad its that somebody like Fischl or Raiden shogun make her pretty much useless unless you are playing a mondstad team for lore roleplay Also pretty sure its all about Navia and Furina now until we get to like 4.6 when probs Arlecchino drops

(The crates compound the problem because new players assume that crates are rare and important treasure and must be broken at every point, and Lisa's uncharged attack - the thing you're supposed at this point to be learning the autoaim on - won't break crates, so new players assume this move is cosmetic. They then reach the timed challenge intended to teach her charged elemental skill, and click through because they've already learned "you have to hold the attack button to do anything" and try to spam her charged attack on the slimes. This can just barely be made to work if you fail and repeat the challenge enough times, which then additionally teaches the player that Lisa not only has almost no useful moves but sucks at killing anything.) To sum up: Lisa's the first character players get they might not figure out how to use, and they'll probably move on to another character first.

Yelan so far has been my BEST hydro applicator for Vape, Taze, and even Reverse Vape. Her exploration speed is awesome

I just got back into Genshin because of the 5.0 stuff. I'll finally get Jean, she was/is the only character I've wanted but I've never pulled her.

Beidou slaps super hard, the omni parry just works.
