I wish there were more of these standstill videos. It's amazing to see and hear the drumline up close, but also hear the rest of the corps. Also awesome that they're in uniform, and these victory performances at the end of the night are always filled with so much emotion.
There seems to be one snare drummer who is REALLY enthusiastic. I was thinking the smaller guy standing next to him was DC, but apparently not? It would make sense that the center snare would be watching a drum major.
the guy in the mid - looking to the left (at the drum major i assume) watch his stick height. i hate to critisize him cuz hes better than i am, but his stick height is always way higher than anyone elses
Well I know you posted this comment a year ago but of you look he is one of the tallest in the line plus if they're marching I'm sure the judges won't notice that much.....

Best snare line ever. Best drumline ever. Thank you Mac for this. You are legendary bro. Also center snare is a fucking beast.
yea the guy watching the DM is the center snare this year....the shorter guy next to him i believe was center snare in 2002
This line wins the award for most aggressive cavaliers line for sure.
this is definitely my favorite show in dci
The center snare for the Madison Scouts….Pat F. won 1st place for DCI solo ensemble in 2001….I had the honor to watch him perform…
Late to the party but... If you're viewing this video we all have to appreciate the drill this line and the entire corps marched. Correct?
Yup
Without a doubt!
You are correct. He was center in 2003 as well.
Only 10 comments on this vid? Thats crazyness and this clip is awesome!
I love the beginning!!
Let me clarify, haha. To the right of him from the viewer's perspective...on the guy's left. Joe is the one checking the DM from time to time.

Nope, the guy to his right (Joe) was center in 2001.

People still do it to this day haha

Nah they marched 9 this year. The one checking DM was center.
Good guys finish first❤
@JessOnTheRun Maybe someday they can win drums again...oh wait.
The guy in the center is the only guy that is right. :-)
Weird. One dudes head is straight left
What's he looking at???
He’s looking at the drum major for time. Everyone else on the snare line goes by center snare’s time.
Mad love bass line
