I really miss drum lines like this. Soooo clean and incredible precision. The Cavalier drum lines from 1989-2003 are the gold standard in DCI. 1992, 2000, and 2002 were my favorite.
One of the most brilliant books ever written I think...
omg. tenor line. hooters shirts.. i am glad i am a tenor player, with those exact drums.. cost us $10,000 of ebay.. seriouslly..
i wish they still played that many notes a show

clean beats, I love it
Too bad the current Cavaliers don't sound like this perfection.

@recalc48 They positioned the drums to ensure the mallet head was in the center of the drum. arm parallel to the ground. No break at the wrist.
OMG the pit in the background at 2:14 was in time with the drumline!!! AMAZINGLY SCARY!!!!
It is not fair. why is there hardly any rehearsal footage of the cavaliers in 2002. I need to know how the staff taught.
does anyone have this snare solo music??
Not buying it?
Remember when lines were clean, played with attention to detail and didn't just try to jam. Love this era of the Cavaliers!
Look at what Paul Rennick has done with SCV. 👌
100% agree
Why do the basses not do a sticks in?????
The tenor players have some pretty big biceps.
