Thank you for the video. I am considering becoming one but not sure where to begin with, since I have already done an MBA.

I’m a first year PsyD student thinking about pursuing board licensing in neuropsych, I’d love it if you did a video talking about what your day-to-day work is like!

OMG I just discovered your youtube channel and I'm finding it so helpful! I just declared a major in neurobiology (hoping to be a neuropsychologist) and there isn't much content out there on the practice. Thank you!

Hey, Doc! Great video! Very informative and detailed. You’d make a great professor. I’d like to know what the financial reward is of all that you went through to become a Doctor? After 14 years of training is it something that you can truly say you’d do again? Asking a student wanting to become a Neuropsychologist.

As an undergrad student, I have found this incredibly helpful. I have researched a lot on what it takes and you summed it up perfectly. I wish I would have found your video when I was first researching how to get into these programs. Another route I have found useful is the PsyD route. From what I have learned, you have to make sure these programs have an emphasis in neuropsychology before applying. They are also easier to get into, although more expensive. As someone who is a bit older and very determined, do you think going the PsyD route is a good alternative for someone who is not interested in a PhD?

I think the PsyD is a great option especially if you're looking into clinical psychology, because PhD tends to be the research route

@@carmelanagneline Hi Carmela, thank you for your reply. After spending days researching programs, I have concluded that a PsyD is not a good ROI. If you finish the program $200k in debt, you are paying $1,000 a month in interest alone at 6%. I am going to work my * off trying to get into PhD programs instead :) If I had the money, I would consider this route.

I’m 13 and want to be a neuropsychologist when I get older what sort of classes should I take in high school? Also, will ADHD make a neuropsychology easier or harder. (Inattentive type)

Your ADHD makes your brain special! You just learn and attend to information differently that most people. You'll have deeper, unique insights to share with your patients one day. Take as many science classes as you can and ask your teachers if they have any research projects you can work on. Neuropsychology is the coolest!
