@@xeper9458 its tiring that Modern's dedicated releases get pushed back and forced into a "shared space" with commander. I could go on about many mythic/rare slots being harvested for pure commander play, again in a straight to modern set- cards literally designed saying "for each opponent," in a dedicated 1v1 format, even lead designers speaking for 70% of the "modern" master debut focused on the commander implications and product. Sorry its getting old hearing all of this while my favored format is getting cannibalized.
@@xeper9458You just explained why it's dumb to use valuable slots in a product that only comes out every few years to pointless reprints for commander only, when any new card designed for modern could have incidental commander use anyway, tell me you don't play any other format without telling me, complaint is totally waranted this time around
@@lasterman94100 Actually I do play multiple formats I'm just tired of everyone always complaining about every set that comes out. Every set is gonna be designed with commander in mind because it's the most popular format and they are a business trying to cover all their bases as best as they can while maximizing profit

That's shady business hiding that the Eldrazi collectors edition commander deck doesn't have 13 extended art cards like the rest of them, when the advertisements for the collectors commander decks literally says each commander deck has 13 extended art cards. There's not even an asterisk attatched to the Eldrazi deck. Gross misrepresentation of product.

Also, thanks for spending nearly half the time of this video talking about Commander. I didn't realize Modern Horizons was a Commander set. You creeps.
MH3 is the biggest middle finger to modern players, MH3 is just another Commander Masters set all the cards being repainted into modern are commander staples where are the Funchal new versions of legacy cards. Stop making everything for commander this isn’t what the players want
i hate what they did with the commander face cards. Like they made the commander extended art foils in Thunder Junction then just move straight back to this bs style again and then charge MORE for the deck.
As someone who’s new but heavily vested into modern, I’m more than welcoming the commander focus. I’m constantly hearing complaints about how the horizons sets are soft rotating the format but this set seems pretty tame in comparison and the orientation towards commander means that there will be relatively less changes to modern. This is all speculation of course, but I welcome commander players to bust open boosters for their chase rares which hopefully makes the cards I’m interested in more available.
Set designers really called it in on this one. How lazy can you be to name cards "Spawn-gang commander" and "wight of the reliquary" and then basically copy paste effects. Try harder next time
Thanks again for sharing a preview of Modern Horizons 3. As a collector and as a player of Magic the Gathering, I'm excited for the limited edition cards #'d "out of 250" !!! Definitely going to rip these on my RUclips channel...
I'm calling it: WotC will release a colorless common spell that has all names in all zones, but has no casting cost, an ability to have as many copies as you want, and maybe cycling too. It effectively clogs up your hand, but makes cards like Accumulate knowledge, and Grandeur better. Cards like Cranial Extraction would be really strong against it too!
