Having just spent some time in Poland and Krakow I started thinking about how influential Pope John Pail was, he had a great way about him and he was pivotal in ending the cold war. Poland is a great country and I wish them all the best.

Yet the hierarchy wanted it all sorted out by their own congregation, not the lawful authorities. They don' speak for God, they just speak for themselves. Nobody knows what God wants or does not want.

What a wonderful Pope!! We have also been blessed with Pope Benedict XVI, who, no doubt will become a Doctor of the Church and now Pope Francis. How Jesus shows us that He is with His Church by giving us these saints to lead us!!!

Two of my friends died from Aids related illnesses in the late eighties. Contraception was not readily available in the Republic of Ireland then, which may ave led to the young men contracting Aids. I'm not prejudice towards Roman Catholics. Can you be prejudice towards your own faith ? I simply disagree with John Paul's, and every other Pontiff's policy on using condoms...

So how can one forgive a guy who did everything but work for God? Condemning those who were different, yet covering up those who were evil, and dare I say it, false prophets? Your not homophobic if you oppose same sex marriage. It says that you value society and the institution of marriage for the creation of a family and for the benefit of society. Same sex marriage is not a matter to equality as there are multiple cases in which the institution of marriage excludes such as the age of the people involved, the number of people involved and the mental capacity of the people involved. That is because in society we draw a moral line and I think we should draw the moral line here at traditional marriage. Same sex marriage offers no practical benefit to society and that is why I believe that the moral line should be drawn at same sex.
