The Force Unleashed shouldn't be taken as serious lore other then maybe the intro mission (minus Vader finding Galen) because it doesn't make any sense in the context of the films. I mean Bail Organa and his daughter were literally known members of the Alliance in that game and for some reason the imperials didn't just kill them. I mean why did they wait until the Death Star if they knew that Alderaan's Royal family were rebels? Also Starkiller is just ridiculous. I don't care what kind of training Vader put him through, it takes ridiculously high midichlorian levels to do what Starkie did - Chosen One levels. Literally the only 2 characters he couldn't beat were Palpatine and Yoda.
Three objections:
Lucas says it's canon.
The Sequels broke the limit on Force powers.
Starkiller isn't even that strong EU-wise.

The Sequels aren't part of the EU. And 2 wrongs don't make a right, both are shit for doing it.
Yes, Starkiller is powerful by EU standards. The comparisons people like to make to other EU characters is different since they generally aren't doing stuff that directly impacts the films.
@@tk-6967 No he isn't. Starkiller is basically at the same level as a fully-leveled KOTOR protagonist or a mid-level KOTOR 2 protagonist. Him yanking an ISD is nowhere near Naga Sadow blowing up a star system or Palpatine using a Force storm to delete an entire fleet.
Lucas made TCW canon to give Filoni a free hand. And while some changes weren't so well-thought-out, like with Grievous, other changes like the Mandalorians were a welcome reprieve from the blind fanboyism they got in the EU.
LOL the SWEU is ten times better than the Sequels, and Force Unleashed is ten times better than the Jedi Fallen Order games which just copied Dark Souls. At least TFU took God of War and added something new like the telekinesis mechanic.

No, the change with Mandalorians was terrible. And there is no indication that that is the reason why Lucas made TCW canon, and honestly even if that were the case, it doesn't matter.
The last paragraph is just a complete strawman. I never said anything about the Sequels being better than the EU or anything. You were very specifically talking about how the Sequels broke the force anyway. I said that 2 wrongs don't make a right. the bullshittery of the Sequels doesn't make TFU somehow not bullshit as well.
As for the JFO thing, no they are better. As for 'JFO copied ', a. I couldn't give a fuck what they copied and b. TFU not only copied other games themselves but also the game itself is still not that great. Sure, it seems like fun, but that is subjective.
One could argue that TFU's worldbuilding is better in terms of lore and designs, but that is rendered meaningless by the bullshit of the main story.
If TFU wasn't set in the movie era or was non-canon, more power to it if you ask me, heck the writers could have done even more crazy exciting things. Instead they settled for an unhappy medium, claiming to be 'canon' while still being bullshit.
@@tk-6967 LOL Sadow wasn't even strong enough to beat his rivals on the council, he had to win the Dark Lord title through politics. And a lot of Old Republic Sith Lords would be laughing at how weak Palpatine is. Heck, they did so in Dark Empire, when their spirits mocked Palpatine for being an epic failure.
Nope. The Mandalorians were better in TCW than in the Republic Commando novels where they were just whiny little soap opera twats. At least TCW's Mandalorians had an arc and an interesting plotline between Maul and the Death Watch.
Force Unleashed isn't bullshit, because it was fun, it was well within the confines of the SWEU, and Starkiller wasn't even that OP. Dude gets killed in a lightning battle with old Palps, showing him to be barely at the level of the movies' Sith. At best, he's a younger Palpatine who chose the good guys. At worst, he's just another jabroni who got killed by the old man.
So no, it's not bullshit, because it was well within the confines of the SWEU's power-scaling, and it makes perfect sense that a Sith would found the Rebellion since a Sith would seek to tear down society if they didn't like it, but the Jedi would just abide by society and either serve society like they did in the Republic, or hide in the shadows if the society doesn't like them.
