I made these donuts today for the children in my neighborhood. It was the best amongst the many recipes I've tried. The children hugged me and said I was the best and that they love me. Glazed, cinnamon sugar, sprinkles and coconut flakes. Thanks.

The Charlie I wanted a Krispy Kreme donut so bad last night. I was shopping at a grocery store that's in the same parking lot as Krispy Kreme. When I came out of the store I smelled the aroma from the Krispy Kreme donuts and all I could think was, it's been years since I made donuts I'm so glad that you're doing this recipe today. Can I offer a tip for those who need it you can make your own powder sugar if you blend granulated sugar and cornstarch together for 30 seconds .

Your comment reminded me of growing up in Mississippi in the 1960’s! We were really poor and sometimes, to be honest, my Mom did not have enough to feed us a good breakfast or enough to give us money for lunch. But, I remember anytime we had a spare nickel, on the way to school we would stop at the best doughnut shop in town. We would ask for the “Day Old” doughnuts, as they were cheaper. They were the best thing you ever ate, even being a day old! I bet yours are the same! ✌🏾

I made these donuts again for some reason they don't rise as high as yours do I was wondering why??? I use 3 tsp of yeast. Rapid yeast like the one in the jar as yours I believe. I am going to order the donut cutter you suggest from Amazon maybe that will help idk

These donuts are addicted and delicious great flavor so soft good,good and good. I made these donuts, 15 all together my family loved them, all gone less than one hour. This is my first time making donuts and this is the best tasting donuts I ever ate. Thank you Charlie
