I'm a furry and also a furry artist and it's easy to tell your drawings were not drawn by a furry :3 They're furries indeed, you did a good job but usually people who don't draw furries tend not to draw the forehead when they're looking from the side and "hair" (not the fur), also a very short muzzle while front facing, making it look more like an anime human character with ears. Nice video tough, fun content, I just found your channel, beeg hug for you man and thank you for sharing your experience at drawing cool anthro characters, I hope you had fun!

I understand your pain. I played a werewolf in skyrim ONCE and now all my friends either call me a furry or a wet dog (thanks to that one line NPCs say randomly.) I just wanted to get free damage buffs with little to no mechanical downsides...
I used to think furries were overrated and cringey but eventually changed my mind after learning how to draw. It just started with an idea of "hey I could draw Lola Bunny and make her look really good" and it's a slippery slope after that. A blend of half-human half-animal features gives you a lot of creative freedom to try unique things, meanwhile you look at anime characters and their designs are very repetitive.....one anime girl looks like every other anime girl.

I can draw quasi-humanoid things of a wide variety, but they never look completely human. It has become my signature in drawing. I can draw very cartoonish humanoids, though, so that’s something. And personal as my fursona is (‘Chekhov’s Gun’ was a key implement in the designs) it is also somewhat complex in design, in part due to many complex matters about my own identity, and figuring it out. which might be oversharing to state in detail. (So instead, an oversimplification of the character: chonky goth undead ungulate hybrid dystopian cyborg demigod fellow.) Essentially, I like characters akin to the Sins in “Helluva Boss”: a being that is slightly incomprehensible and of immense power, but still “human” in nature. ‘Real’ characters.

12:14 the reason why a lot old paintings are yellow shifted is because they used egg yolks as a binder. A lot of paint was made from plant material and water and egg yolks would help with the pigment bind to the water. But it also died the painting, yellow a little bit.

12:14 the reason why a lot old paintings are yellow shifted is because they used egg yolks as a binder. A lot of paint was made from plant material and water and egg yolks would help with the pigment bind to the water. But it also died the painting, yellow a little bit.

At this point it feels like posting furry art would be the only way to get more than 2 or 3 unique people replying to my singular post and even dare I say give feedback.
It could be a chance to practice the anatomy pipeline I could generalize and apply elsewhere if I ever develop one, but I doubt that will happen if I do not learn how to properly shade/render my artworks (at least digital ones)
