@@LonewolfGamingTKi'm having hard time to do b1 flck b2 for while running oki setup. Is it viable to do this move for running oki instead of doing b1 flck b2? ruclips.net/video/IztJ6I6xrrE/видео.html
Excellent video. Learning something as simple as Sonic Fang countering wake up attacks has completely changed my game. Can't wait to implement the other oki options.
200w wih steve in fujin.. but i started off at suzaku coz my main being tekken god. I got demoted 3 times before i started winning with steve. He is hard
I quit after Foxie received heavy nerfs couple of months ago, but could not resist and came back. Just the video I need to refresh and gain new knowledge. Was very annoyed when I learnt you can no longer go for the running oki after the ALB 2 nerf, but these options are rock solid as well. Cheers mate.
Thanks a bunch I needed this!! I have a few questions tho, can you give me tips about how to handle match-ups against Alisa, Leo, and Eddy? They're the characters my cousin's use and I use Steve, I just realized that Steve is on expert tier while the three earlier are on easy tier. Explains on how I always get my ass beaten up by them xD. Their fast animations gets me everytime and they usually just do one move and they could do the rest of the combo, while me, I have to counter before I could make a combo haha.
Ah well I'm much more familiar with eddy compared to leo & alisa. One thing in common with these characters are that they are bound to crush most of Steve's high moves and that includes b1. Against eddy, when he is in relax, go for df 1+2 (sonic fang) cause mids and highs crush when eddy is in relax. Leo also has a lot of moves that crushes highs and also mids, keep in check with d2, 1 string & use df 2 more. All these characters have some kind of panic attack like the hopkick so keep your distance and play defensively.
@@LonewolfGamingTK Edit; sorry bro I thought I had already watched that vid but I given up on this ender totally not worth the trouble. I've been practicing this for over half a year now and I haven't landed it once and this coming from me who's a day 1 Akuma main who can do double Stand 2 HCB FADC, death combos with relative ease but for some reason I don't get why I can never do the FLK ender in Shiro combo lol.
Ye i get it, there is a trick to connecting the flk punches after the duck cancel. You’l need to practice and find out the timing for yourself. The duck cancel after the screw needs to be precise, duck cancel to double dash will enable steve to do a quick leap forward then input flk 1,1 and alb ender. This all needs to be done fast and very smooth manner. Or you can always go for sonic fang or pkb f2,1 ender much easier and reliable in my opinion.
Can you also make more guides for dck 2 or the shoryuken and b2 setups? An example would be the 1212 into dck2 to counter jabbing opponents or albatross 2 into b2 to counter jabs as well
Yes there is, there looks like a lot of factors that is needed for the setup. first the opponent shouldn't change the alignment after gattling gun combo. iflk b 2 as the name suggests should come out instantly, shoudnt even look like you are goin to flk stance. it should come out just when the opponent tech rolls from ground.
Make sure that your neutral gameplay is solid. Unlike other char he doesnt hav a launcher or any kind of high damaging low like the hellsweep, he is not the kind of character that should be played with 50-50 mindset. Work on your defense cause steve works best when he is at range 0, which means closing the gap using dash guard and duck canceling. At first opponents feel threatened and use them hopkicks or any kind of panic moves bait them and punish them, until they start respecting your duck cancels and dash guard, thats when you start poking that hp down. Play patiently with steve, chip the health bar little by little. If the opponent is aggressive, you can always count on b1 & df 2 ch.

@@LonewolfGamingTK yeah I know it's really hard especially on a normal PS4 pad I mostly end with EXT Duck 1 into ALB 2 way easier bro

Exactly what is "tech" ?
“Tech” is often used in the FGC when people are talking about “technology” which means some strategy or setup for your character.
Is there a timing that goes with the heera setup?
Yes there is, there looks like a lot of factors that is needed for the setup. first the opponent shouldn't change the alignment after gattling gun combo. iflk b 2 as the name suggests should come out instantly, shoudnt even look like you are goin to flk stance. it should come out just when the opponent tech rolls from ground.
