As always another informative video. Thanks! @7:29 when you have the single fix solution you can click on the single fixed green dot and the coordinates and height come up with a copy to clipboard symbol next to them. Don't know if that helps to keep from going into the files or not. Just another option
Question for you Tim, around @19:30 since Emlid Flow can apply geoid heights to data collected in the app in the field during collection by setting the vertical cs at project creation, can we hack that transformation from ellipsoid meters to geoid ft by creating the project in the desired output in this step? Or should I just take the original output value to NGS NCAT to get to SPC, and then NGS's VDatum to get to geoid height faster? My logic tells me that Flow won't make that transformation for me, rather it would screw up the vertical values as it is importing them directly from the csv which is in ellipsoid. Wish there was a way Flow allowed us to make those transformations inside of Studio from the jump.
Is drone mapping legal to do without a surveyor license? Can you do a video regarding this subject ?I'm looking to start a drone business focused in construction progression and mapping (for reference only ) no legal use .... but not sure about all the legally about the operations. Thanks 🙏🏼👍🏼
Hello! I am processing my base station and rover data using emlid right now. Your video was helpful- thank you! I have a few questions. I have not done the PPK base file with CORS step-- I do directly into stop and go processing using my base station and rovers .ubx files. Is this a necessary step [CORS]? I am asking because, for some reason, emlid studio is not identifying some of the points in the .csv file. I have 18, and it only corrects the first 7 points. I would appreciate any advice you have for me.
Hi Dany, I am not sure I understand the question. Usually Static would be used when referring to Static vs Kinematic. With the most recent firmware update the Emlid units only record in Kinematic. Static is not an option. Then PPK is referred to in PPK vs RTK. I now strongly suggest using RTK with the Emlid units. When using RTK, all of the constellations (satellites) are used but when you rely on the log files for PPK, there are a number of the satellites that are not recorded. This is due to a limitation of UBLOX. The Emlid Studio has had some major updates so I really need to do another video to replace this one.
@@DroneMappingTools I just noticed the emlid studio version you are using on your vídeo doesn't show the static point option in the drop down menu, it's suposed to process the base with a reference antenna, i guess it gets the same result..
Good catch! I truly need to make a new video. I am pretty sure this was the beta version. I would need to rewatch the video to be sure. Emlid Studio has had many improvements over the last year!

It's an excellent tutorial. Thank you very much
Thanks for the information I will definitely watch this video.

Is there a reason why you process the base with the ppk routine instead of the static routine?

Hello friend, I would like to make a question to you. Do you have an email to send my question and files link ?
Thank you, regards from Panamá 🇵🇦
