The message to this video is so very very true when my mom was in her forties she went back to school and got her Nursing degree and despite being mentally disabled I am going back to school to get my ma certification at 38 you are never too old to go back to school.
I'm in the exact position as her, I want to confess to my parents but, I'm too afraid, they tell all emotional things like we did this for you, we didn't expect this from you, we want your future to be bright so doctor profession is the best, they never want to understand what I have passion in,I'm happy with, I don't know what to do, I'll show them this video, I hope they can support me too, thank you for the wonderful video.
Just tell to them that you want something else. And if they say all of that, tell to them that you've asked nothing of what they've chosen for you and you want something else, then, after you've said all of that, you can say "I'll respect your efforts for what I'm asking for me. Not what you're asking for you." Why ? Because it's your life.
My story is totally opposite to this. My parents are very supportive & they told me to follow my dream. I want to be a doctor but I am such an arsehole who can't be able to make it since last two years 😭😭
Parents are bows and children are like arrows, each bow wants its arrow to hit the target. But how many arrows from a bow hits the target? Few. So parents must give immense love and don't impose their principles on the child, let them free and experience their life with their own principles.

Hey dude I'm also from India and your story is exactly like me but changed it. So if you want to chase your dream you need to prove your excellence to your parents
No wait. Please NO... That is exactly what I did... Trust me, taking bio when you don't want to be a doctor is the biggest mistake in my life so far. I got 95% in 10, I was a decent student. The same story as yours I was scared of maths so I took bio... Don't do it. Career prospects after PCB is very poor. Nothing is good except for doctor... I got 97.2% in 12 boards but still couldn't score in NEET becoz deep inside me, I didn't want to be a doctor at all. Being a doctor you will be working 15-18 hours a day during residency. I want to LIVE for myself. I don't want to be committed as a doctor. Take maths even if you think it's hard. Your parents will still be able to afford private engineering but not private medical. After engineering you can do MBA and become a manager somewhere if you don't like engineering. DON'T TAKE BIO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE A DOCTOR. All exams require maths, after taking bio all doors will close. Trust me, I am 18 now... I have tried everything.

When the girl spoke out, i was like so happy that she had the cpurage to speak her feelings. That is why sometimes we need to not be afraid to speak out to our parents.
This thing happened in my life, but unfortunately i did not have the courage as this girl, i never wanted to be a doctor, i completed the med education, but by the time i completed it i was diagnosed with chronic depression. Now i am a psychiatric patient because of my dad and my sibling
Heen Ahmed i dont know , wot i blv now is become the greatest in wat i was forced to and then i want to change the system .
Heen Ahmed i will try
So sad
I love being a doctor. But i have classmates who are not intended but forced by family. They always complaints about the hardship they are going through. I wishes and hope for your overcoming the depression and find the true you.
Devil jin....same here..i m afraid what if i leave in the mid...so i dont know what to do..😭
Parents their faillure in life becomes their ego to push their kids 2time as hard to become a : pilot, doctor, president.
Thats the only job you must do and bring millions at home for your parents
:)
I can genuinely say that this inspired me.
Why the first half fells like my story
Which I never get to express
M still waiting for a man in blue coat
Pray for me fellas .....
He showed up in the video. ;)

Amazing video. If everyone could follow their dreams the world would never be full of sunshine and rainbows for others to see.
I love this so much. I hope I can make a impact in the world one day. I always say the world is not the place you live but the people you meet and talk. Each of us view the Earth and the moment you make someone feel hope and inspiration you are a impact to their world and you yourself are a impact to the whole Earth because you impacted the world.
This video gives me so much hope. I am at the exact same spot where this girl stands. And I have exact same dreams as she has. But my parents want me to be a doctor. Right now I am at a tight spot and I will temporarily have to give up my dreams. I just hope that after completing my med degree I will have enough courage and energy to follow what I have left behind.
❤❤❤❤
Same here
You do know you can be a doctor and artist at the same time? What’s wrong with being a doctor and saving thousands of lives...
What an amazing plot twist. I’m crying
Most of the teen-agers think about suicide because parents doesn't know what they feel while they hearting too much.
Its so true, im in depression and im always thinking of sucide. 😖....what's the purpose of living when you can't live in your own way. It'll get worst if i followed their dream of me becoming a doctor and living my life as they want cuz it will make me regret of not achieving my dream. Also i think most parents force their children to do jobs that have high society standards. Why can i not be different. Im the kind of who usually doesn't get surprised by knowing that this person is a doctor, i get surprised when i hear people say, im a fashion designer, a painter etc. I like when people follow their dreams and i wanna do the same for myself.
When I saw "My Hero" I broke down in tears.
Literally my story! I’m 17 now, no idea what to do with life, but always had this burning desire to change the world for better. Will come back here 20 years later and update (remind me on 30th Jan 2041 plz!)
The message to this video is so very very true when my mom was in her forties she went back to school and got her Nursing degree and despite being mentally disabled I am going back to school to get my ma certification at 38 you are never too old to go back to school.
Do what you love! That is how you win in life👊 Great video!!
This is very inspiring for sure.
The ending was so nice and unexpected at the same time.
This video gave me goosebumps 😥
Moral of the story: If your parents pushes you too far, go to library so if your parents mad at you the librarian can kick them.
You lucky if you have a father like that, I will be very grateful for having dad such like that, Who eager to push me.
I'm in the exact position as her, I want to confess to my parents but, I'm too afraid, they tell all emotional things like we did this for you, we didn't expect this from you, we want your future to be bright so doctor profession is the best, they never want to understand what I have passion in,I'm happy with, I don't know what to do, I'll show them this video, I hope they can support me too, thank you for the wonderful video.
true.....
There are many understanding parents today... The choice is yours don't depend on others because you deserve to be independent!!!
My dad has 4 kids and is about to have 5 and he told us we should do anything we want as long as we don’t do drugs and try our best
"Hey don't follow their dreams follow ur own dream" - dhar mann
My story is totally opposite to this. My parents are very supportive & they told me to follow my dream. I want to be a doctor but I am such an arsehole who can't be able to make it since last two years 😭😭
Absolutely amazing thank you stay blessed x
Parents are bows and children are like arrows, each bow wants its arrow to hit the target. But how many arrows from a bow hits the target? Few.
So parents must give immense love and don't impose their principles on the child, let them free and experience their life with their own principles.
The ending 🤯 Great ❤️
2:05 "you, call them it?" idk why I found this so funny🤣
In india I think every generation is fulfilling dreams of previous generation that failed to do it for themselves becoz they were busy in achieving dreams of their own parents
yes!
Everyone has the right to live their dream 😃😃 No matter what age , gender , colour or religion ❤️❤️

Being a motivator and educator I myself give you many congratulations
for great content for other motivational videos #beyondresist
Its story about another country but in India every child had to follow their parents' dream
Just like me . I'm in 10th grade and my father gave me two choice be engineer or doctor and i chose to be doctor cuz everything about maths blew from my mind.
physics and chemistry also has maths, so how you are going to do it ?
Hey dude I'm also from India and your story is exactly like me but changed it. In my tenth grade my father wanted me to become a engineer but my dream is to become a indie game maker .when I told my father about my passion he said that game making is not even a job.Times passed and in my 11th grade I published first commercial title which was a huge a success and generated me a income of 1000$/month(70000rupees)which is far greater than my father's.There my father realised my passion and admitted to follow my dreams. So if you want to chase your dream you need to prove your excellence to your parents
@@Pavanthetechboy totally agree with you.
@@Pavanthetechboy physics is my fav. subject but i heard that class 11th physics is kinda hard😥
The acting here is superb💚 whereas other motivational videos are bad as heck.
That is small story about the right life. Parents should watch this!
Thank you for this. This was what I needed... Thanks again!
*"Follow your dream"*
My dream is to be singer but I dont know if I will be successful because I'm different.
Do you believe I can be successful singer🥺👉🏻👈🏻
You can do this 😊
. Turn your dream into a belief not a doubt. If you think you are different, then my friend you are discriminating yourself. Our greatest enemy is our pessimistic self, who wishes our bad. I say not to visualise your goal, but to visualise that you have reached it. Or do one thing, use your negative thought to motivate yourself. Let it trigger you to strive for your dream with stronger determination.
You can do this
It depends how deeply you believe and follow your passion ....
You sure will
No one:
Not a single atom:
Asians parents: you don’t wan’t to be a doctor? Ok so u have chosen death
@Kumar Ajay yeah bt sometimes they just over due it..u cannot force someone to take up a profession that he or she has least interest in
@Kumar Ajay there are other jobs that could make alot of money. After all, happiness is more important, you wouldn't wanna be working a job that you hate right?
I wish I could Express myself I she did,but one's willing to listen 😔😭
Wow loooove this! What an ending tho. Can we have more of those?!
Oh god !!🔥🔥💯I can totally relate it with mah lyf🙂
I'm so touched with the ending
3:09,he said;"this is what I want from her",when the real meaning is;this is what I always wanted for myself, but I think that's impossible now,so I want her to make my dream come true.
Guys whatever happens pls do not let go of your dreams....if they dont support now...they will eventually do....and if they don't, don't worry they love u....Chase your dreams and prove them what u want to do is also not a bad idea...it's the same as a doctor or engineer or some other professions.......I believe in you....there will be times u will feel demotivated but u gotta chase your dreams and push yourself to do what u want to do....stay safe ...be positive...😊😊
That twist just broke me down.🥲
Parents that do this to their kids live vicariously through their kids on order to compensate for their own failures.
This is happened to me since I was nine. He always does pushes me for school. I got into a blowout fight with my dad.
Seriously? Every nine year old’s gotta go to school, it’s not pushing, it’s called discipline and education.... And of course you got into a “blowout” fight with your dad, cuz you were like any other nine year old that didn’t wanna go to 3rd grade 🤦🏻♀️.
To follow your dreams is wrong, following them only gets you so far you want to chase your dreams 🤙👌
I literally cried
Most children don't even know that they have the power to walk away or know that they even can!
Parents either make or break a child
This message made me feel positive, thanx
This is though, most of us relate on some way
This made me cry. Very well done
Being a doctor is such a beautiful thing and such a wonderful profession unless and until you are pushed into it, if you are becoming a doctor out of the love for the profession you r gonna do great, but if you are doing out of force or compulsion things r gonna be very hard
I hate being a docter.
Parents are never wrong but their methods can be
Just Live Fvckin Life and be HAPPY
Follow your heart, follow your dreams, just work hard and get all that you dreamt of that way you will be happy and your parents wants your happiness only, but make sure you end up happy choosing the path you felt like walking ❤️
*We must have the dare to follow our passion our dreams instead of fearing from failure n risk or thinking about other people that what they will think.......we must have dare to come out of comfort zone because life is already is not a comfortable bed we already face alot even if we tried to protect ourselves....we get to live our story of life once and its worth to take risk without being afraid of failure.....if u have dare to be consistent n ur only focus is over ur own dream n passion instead of other people then there is no chance of failure.....nothing is impossible.*

Big Thanks for that Video . I did needed this today . LOve & Hugs from Brussels ; )
Literally at the last moment 🤷♀
I was like: what are they going to do?
This clip motivated me to go back to school and go after my dream thank you thanks a looooot 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Your parents know what's good for you.
Following your dreams will not always be fruitful.
Be grateful for what you have, be grateful for all your parents have given.
Listen to them and whole heartedly try what they ask of you.
It might change your life.
Respect for parents does not have to equal killing your dreams my friend. It's just a single life we have all the most superior living species were know of in the observable universe.
If they have the necessities in life you are "allowed" to do what you want with your life.
