Do this. Intermittent fasting. Start with black coffee in the morning, go for as long as you can and then eat when you need to. Next day, try again. Until you can fast all day until dinner. Dont get upset when you fail, keep going. Having cheat days etc. If you woke mon - fri , fast during the day then and eat on weekends. I was about 225lbs. Got down to 190lb. Fast.
I'd love to see more of your journey im sort of joining you as of late I weighed in at the doctors at 271 pounds and decided it was time, i've not changed everything i'm doing but i've been thinking alot more about my diet and my spare time and I hope you continue to have luck with you fitness journey, i'll definitely keep checking in!
I'm glad you are focusing on your health and well-being, friend! I recommend to read (or Audible) while you go through this journey to exercise your mind as well as your body. I recommend Atomic Habits by James Clear. It's a great book about daily habits and decisions that are relevant to your journey! You can do this! We all believe in you and will be here whenever you are ready to come back!
I'm adding it to my list brother, I appreciate the comment, didn't get back to it because I set RUclips aside, I'm getting ready to get back into it. Your book is on my list! I've been listening to Warhammer books on audible at work lol.
It takes time to gain excess weight. It takes time to get it off. Walk daily and reduce what you eat. Start slow, but remain steady. Over time it gets better. No quick fix.
Hello, good video I really hope you can fufill your goals and dont let the dark voices in your head win. Just keep doing research about foods and exercises that will help you reach your goal. And try eat whole foods, organic not that processed shit foods. I would recommend eating raw sweet potatoes it keeps your stomach full so you dont feel hungry all the time. And some organic ground beef and put some spices in which you like just try eat as much of those power foods. Better to pay now then paying your doctor later. And would be really cool if you could show your progress and some videos of you working out. And do not let the dark thoughts win keep going with the grind. Health is the most important thing. I belive in you and I can see that you want to improve your life. Best of luck on your journey
Thanks brother, clean meats like chicken and turkey, lots of fruits and veggies, 99% water 1% zero sugar sodas to curb sweet tooth cravings. It's going really well. I'm strength training as well. I've watched videos like Sam Sulek for a while but I've gotten a ton of fantastic information out of Dr. Mike Israetel on Renaissance Periodization
I didn't go Into full detail in the video as it wasn't scripted but yeah I only drink water and the occasional zero sugar soda to curb sweet cravings. I eat clean low fat meats in every meal, mainly chicken and turkey, and I eat tons of fruits and vegetables. I'm not going to fast because I'm trying to build sustainable dietary habits and I just don't see that as something I want to pursue doing. I figure as long as I eat good clean food 3 times a day and get around 2400 calories (because I'm strength training with the intention of building a lot of natural muscle) I'll be fine. Right now I'm at about 2,000 a day so I'm dropping about 2-4 pounds a week as my maintenance at my initial weighing was in the 3000s, which honestly shocked me and showed me just how much dog shit I was eating to maintain that weight.
Bro. I was in the same exact boat you were in for years, and I already hear all the mistakes I made. Listen to me.... Go full carnivore, and you will not regret it. All that stuff you're eating is going to stop all your progress. Trust me, I know. Your 14 pounds of weight was all water retention, and that's why you stalled. Look up carnivore videos here on RUclips, and trust me, you will thank me later. Eat high quality grass fed meat with hight saturated fat and remove all processed foods and sugars and carbs and you will become a fat burning machine and build a bunch of lean muscle that women actually are attracted to... not the bloated bro muscles women cringe at.
a LOT of people are carb sensitive, or have secret gluten allergies they didnt know about (i had a gluten allergy and didnt know it until I was 41) going a low carb high fat diet will give you a good amount of weight loss and its high protein which is great for muscle gain. Eliminating corn/vegatable oil is a huge one as well. @ofnazareth9376 is 100% correct keto/carnivore is best

Cut carbs and drink only water. Try outright fasting if you can mentally do it.

@@metrana0724 Glad to hear it. Yeah, the average westerner's diet is hot garbage.
Missed an amazing opportunity to do a gym bro joke when you were talking about using mouth muscles.
