I’m an old man (52) & I gotta say that I thought rock shows like this were a thing of the past 🤷🏼♂️I’m glad to see I was wrong & that young folks are capable of putting the phones down & having some fun 🤘🏻🖤
These guys are really doing something for Hardcore and that’s facts. Even bands like Knocked Loose and Vein.Fm are making big strides in the genre! Give it another 10-15 years and it’ll be mainstream as hell. Purests will be pissed lol.
I agree. I was wondering how a Turnstile show would be at a place like this. Most disorganized pit ever but I appreciate that they're appreciating the music
i'm so glad i'm in my 30s for Turnstile's rise. When I was a kid I think I would have reflexively hated seeing a hardcore band at Coachella, rather than now where it fills me with unreasonable pride.
exactly. thought the same thing since. i saw nirvana at the paramount october 31 1991 and when i saw their live GLOW RECORD RELEASE party here on you tube i thought holy shit, nirvana vibe. big time. even more so since youth are bursting at the seams sick of covid isolation.
Opening up with "Holiday" was wild. That pit was mayhem. People throwing swings. Couldn't believe it lol. Code Orange and Mannequin Pussy had rock solid pits too. Love to see it.
So they're back from South America and Brady still isn't playing?!?! Saw them in Los Angeles in late February and was stoked to run into Brady before the show and was bummed to see he wasn't playing with the band in the following weeks in South America.
From what I hear he’s just taking some time with family. They’ve blown up into pretty much the biggest band in the world and they worked their asses off nonstop to get here. I’m hoping he’ll be back soon!
Not many girls I see in the crowd..lol not surprised cause a lot of I guess what they consider more fashion/social media models are known to go there and I don’t think turnstile will ever be attractive to that kind of crowd-not just girls but other popular male businessmen and ones with popularity.. it’s just that I’ve seen girls go pretty hardcore to turnstile.. it’s badass but at the same time not surprised that the more pumped up adrenaline male crowd is what they got..especially Coachella
It’s like people that go to these things are actually music fans? I think Coachella mostly gets hate (especially over the past 5 years) because of Influencers and the price.
@@eduardolopez7670 Exactly. Weekend 1 kind of gets the influencers/celebs, but Weekend 2 is mainly music fans. Also, if they wanna spend their money for the fashion and photo ops, who gives a shit? More room for us to party
@@eduardolopez7670 I mean no disrespect but that’s all I have ever thought of when I hear Coachella. Lots of money and famous people and peasants like me would never be able to go.

I honestly feel like the type that was not really paying attention or checking it out on the side for a bit would almost have a heart attack if they saw that there 💁😂
It isn’t an entirely hardcore crowd IMO. Definitely fans, but could be people who aren’t just hardcore fans that go to hardcore shows. Was similar when I saw Fury at Tropicalia. A lot of indie bands and obviously people can be into multiple genres, so they aren’t into hardcore dancing/ moshing the same. Also, people who probably kind of know them were at Coachella. Either way I think it’s great that people were getting involved and having fun, good for the vibes imo
This comment is such bullshit. What is a poser, exactly? Just because someone isn't fully in the hardcore culture doesn't mean they can't enjoy a band or mosh, even if the pit is relatively weak. Like you're seriously trying to gatekeep moshing lol
lmao bro this is Turnstile at Coachella i honestly expected them to have like a either a tiny pit with no one in it or just everyone standing around. You expected bunch of hardcore dudes to pay $200+ a ticket for them or something haha
I just don’t get it, I will never understand the hype about this band. This band straight up sucks and get this type of hype? I grew up in the hardcore scene since about 2002 And have seenway better bands in hardcore deserve hype like this? But turnstile? The duck? And even though there was two hardcore bands at Coachella I will never support and band that does.
Good story bro, I'm sure they are just kicking themselves after reading your comment. You really got 'em man. No one care what you think any more than what I think. Be quiet.

Turnstile at Coachella, with a really nice pit, and nearly everyone singing along. The times are changing. The tides are turning.

I feel this
Coachella usually has one "punk" type band every year. This was definitely Turnstiles moment to shine for sure.
Exactly the same for me. So excited for these guys.
triple b records shirts at Coachella, I never thought I'd see the day. thank you turnstile

My new favorite band. I didn’t know my true reason for being at Coachella until I stepped into that tent. Transcendent.
Such a Chad move to see Turnstile live. Sick!
Just saw them at lollapalooza… that was a great experience
This band is a revolution. 😊
Modern day Fugazi 😊
This is hands down where the real music fans at Coachella were at
chills every time
it was bussin' bussin' my only regret is that i didn't stay for the whole set!
Thanks Chad!
Miss seeing people go off at Turnstile shows.
Amazing footage, thanks for capturing this!
I like how Franz fucks up the bassline at 01:52. When I saw them in London he would just stop playing for a few beats in the middle of a song
