I remember setting my alarm for this. Waking up around 5 am was hard but it was nice that the fight was so quick and I could go back to sleep
Lmafo 😂😂
That's some real fan ish.👍
Dedication is a very real thing. 👍👍👍
@@leonardebron6032 lmaoo I agree but some people have shit to do lmao
UK? I feel your pain mate
Actually crazy he knocked him down with a shot that didn’t even fully land. To this day I still wonder how Overeem survived that uppercut 💀
"We are still searching space for Alistair Overeem's head!"
Daniel Cormier 😂😂😂
To be fair overeem was out for a while from that shot 😂 good thing his head was still on tho
He didn’t survive that uppercut though lol
The uppercut didn't land that clean either though, Overeem was moving his head back, If it did Overeem might have been badly injured.
It was a left uppercut thats not his power hand thats why overeem didn't die

Ngannou’s power is disgusting but I rarely hear of his accuracy. This man could spot a jaw with his eyes closed
He’s way higher level than people give him credit for tbf
@UC0luOBeEcvBNK3Z-vCCa4iA agreed, his power is all that’s talked about but it takes a lot more than power to be a fighter of that calibre
@@personification1957 I think the Rozenstruik fight was the one that caused it because he did literally just wing punches until he connected and that was that, but he's usually fucking brilliant at setting his shots up and being super accurate as you said
@@ketamine4886 yeah there are times where it’s easy to spot flaws in his technique, but few fighters have perfect technique 100% of the time so it’s hard to discredit him. I completely agree with you though
Maybe you're all right but there isn't much beauty to his technique.. He looks very average but born with death in his hands..
Gotta feel for curtis man, dude first ufc fight was ngannou, then soon fought him again, and then got knocked out cold with lewis, mans brain cells have got to be rattled by now
I swear he doesn’t talk as well as he used to so quite possibly
Don't forget his fight with Mark Hunt were he took massive damage in round 1.
@@ketamine4886 Nah, he's always had a speech impediment
Getting KO'd by Ngannou in a few seconds may be better than throwing for 3-5 rounds with less powerful, but more voluminous strikers
@@TheJoker-yz8dv I hope so for the sake of his brain
I feel like there's kind of a pattern in many of Ngannou's KOs, where his opponents end up either completely face down or desperately trying to turn away from him somehow.
It's less like watching a fight and more like watching first degree assault 💀
Ngannou's most scary KO's are when his opponents are lying on their back unconscious.
Francis throwing a leg kick is scary
In stipe rematch he threw a fucking head kick, even Stipe was shook like bro we heavyweights what you doing
@@utkarshsarkar839 you didn't grow up watching the era of heavyweights which Crocop is from

U god it right
That was one of those early stoppages. Hate to see this to fighters that have heart and determination to hang in the fight but don't get a chance because of the ref's bad call
@Anung Un Rama there's a difference between being out of it and still hanging in there. Even when ref stopped Curtis did not agree and was still in it 👍

Nice trivia!
Go tell this to casuals on ur trash channel. Oh wait that’s prolly why it’s dying
and then beating the GOAT Miocic in 2 rounds, really a movie story
@@yaya6509 Stay mad 🤡
Francis always has that crazy power.
I didn't see curtis winning this fight at all. still, horrible stoppage
I think Francis will do great in boxing 🤷 he is way better skilled with hand combat than Wilder has and way more punch power than wilder
Except for the Lewis and first Stipe fight, but yeah no shit
@@irishscience580 slightly yes, but he was going to get knocked the fuck out. The referee did him a huge favor by stopping it.
Hardest punch in the world 😭
Francis’ footwork looked great this fight. He is very light on his feet. Moved exceptionally well away from Blaydes’ strikes. And he closed the distance and took away the center of the octagon from Blaydes. Many of the Ngannou haters just think this man isn’t technical.

@@gainesp2003gainesp Strawman fallacy, what God wills and what he loves are two different things.
Sure, given by God. Nothing to do with genetics or hard training or technique. You're basically saying Francis didn't do anything to earn it and that's a dick move. You should be ashamed.
I can really see Gane picking Ngannou apart like Wonderboy did to Luque and Masvidal but man… can never count out Ngannou’s touch of death
Gane needs to be on his heels all night long 🏃🏽
But maybe francis pulls a anthony pettis and gets lucky with a wild punch
Luque and masvidal can't hit like ngannou. He went on a 4 fight first round KO streak and it was only stopped by the goat at his weight class which extended it to 2 rounds
@@Matt-jc2ml gane gonna control Ngannou first 2 rounds then 3rd he gets loose then when he gets overconfident gets rocked and finished by Francis.
You know what can I really see? A ford escort taking gane to the shadow realm
He hit the air so hard that it knocked blades down 😂😂
Bruh lmao it legit just brushed his hair
LMFAO
Fun Fact: Ngannou was the underdog in this fight
He was also underdog in his next fight after this against Cain Velasquez lol crazy stuff in hindsight
If you know curtis' resume and style it made sense.
@@thatguyyousawthatonetime everyone was overlooking Francis then because he got wrestled by Stipe. They're overlooking him now too.
I’m not surprised considering in his last 2 fights he got 50-45’d by Stipe and froze against Derrick Lewis. It was sad seeing him go from being “the next UFC heavyweight champion” to nearly getting cut in less than a year.
He was on a 2 fight losing streak so it makes sense tbh
Marc Goddard just did a phenomenal job with the stoppage.
He rushed in to stop the fight as soon as Blaydes fell to his knees, but aborted in the last split second (edit: because he saw that he was getting up again). And after he saw that Blaydes wasn't defending the follow up shots anymore, he ended it.
Just shows how quickly the refs have to decide and how sharp Marc Goddard is in particular
Isn’t that the same with Colby and Usman 1 weird how he was contesting it
Good stoppage, one could argue that curtis was getting back to his feet but he was taking so many of Ngannous punches and he wasn’t blocking or parrying them, we talking ngannou here Ladies and gents those punches ain’t no gn-kisses
@Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski because referee gotta take consider of who is fighting too you bozo, if its a lighter weight class, maybe i agree with you, but this is francis ngannou, one bad decision the man could kill you dead
@matthew 10805first off being a ref is rough in any sport. Goddard is usually pretty good. People don't get too hurt with him in the cage.. I, see both sides of this. If the ref makes a move at you and you see it in your peripheral you might hesitate to punch. After the first overhand knocked blaydes down, the ref made a motion and it looked like he was about to interfere but didn't. I don't see the block I just see Goddard make a move like he was about to interfere but then let blaydes try to recover. Ngannou might have seen Goddards motion and held back from throwing a game ender. I don't see Goddard blocking nothin though. Other than the premature interference
Nah, slightly early as usual for Goddard.
Ngannou's finishes are so quick that his fights could be posted on TikTok! :)
that overhand didn't even land flush and just the force from it knocked blaydes forwar and wobbled him 0.o
Ngannou is a murderous puncher. It's basically the exact hit and reaction that he drew from hitting Junior dos Santos.
In both cases Ngannou's shot didn't land flush, but just sort of glanced by the temple of his opponent with enough force to drop them.
But the most interesting and significant reaction to note is that in both cases the brains of his opponent took over immediately and went into autopilot by making them cower and cover up for safety with no interest at all to fight back.
They basically quit once they felt a quarter of Ngannou's power.
RIDICULOUS!!!
@@ubilicious1887 . Yeah, Maybe but lleft jab too.
At the end Blaydes was like: "No man, what are you doing? Do not stop this fight, let him to kill me!"
UFC giving us so many free fights and on this day videos lately I love it
they finally understand what the internet is about
Ngannou's power is unquestionable but he has never had to fight someone with the technical precision of Gane. Could go either way and I wouldn't be surprised!
Except he’s fought Stipe, also Ganes never fough someone a fast as Ngannou himself with the size and speed of Ngannou, Is not going to stand still like Jairzinho or Blaydes did say all, just how Ngannou moves in the above video is more than all of Ganes opponents move!
I mean Stipe is pretty technical as a striker…lol
he fought Overeem tho 4 years ago
Hes fought stipe you mug
@@nederlands6744 we all know how that went
People think Jones would smoke this guy lmao, one punch is all it takes
Blaydes wondering why the fight was stopped when he was getting his face bashed in is somewhat hilarious
I think if it would have not been stopped, within 2-4 seconds later, Blaydes would have been flatlined
@@jsavage9134 100%
People don’t seem to realise Francis is very technical too these days, his fights just don’t last as long as Cyrils
Yes that last fight with stipe really highlighted his technical improvement
He hits so hard the fights look rigged. That's just insane.
Still in awe of the first Stipe vs Francis fight . Yes Francis wasn’t as good at grappling back then, but still Stipes timing and entries was on point that night . And the cojones to even attempt that game plan. One of my favourite fights
Did you enjoy the second fight?
@@ubilicious1887 Was a brutal KO and was great to see Francis improve so much. Will be interesting to see if Francis can be out pointed or even finished by Gane as I don’t think the wrestle fucking strategy will work anymore against Francis.
Ngannou was very raw when he fought Stipe, he had no wresting and no cardio, poor movement, so all Stipe had to so all Stipe had to do was wear out his gas tank and secure takedowns. Second fight Ngannou just had to learn basic takedown defence and movement. After he stuffed Stipe's first take down even Stipe knew it was a wrap, especiallly with the heavy shots he ate.
Makes you wonder how much more of a beast he would be if he started mma earlier or had a background in grappling /wrestling.
@Nigalas Cage They are a great list of fights , I have many favourites. But not a lot of people thought stipe had a chance at the time due to the hype Dana and the ufc out behind Francis , and stipe was clutch as Fuck with his execution of that game plan which is easier said than done ,so that’s why it’s one of my favourites
After watching tons of fights and clips of the greatest champions in combat sports - boxing specifically, i came to the conclusion that technique is greater than power. I believe that technical hit-and-don't-get-hit flair fighters are superior to powerful punchers.
That's why i told my friends that Wilder with his death touch cannot beat Fury in a hundred attempts before they ever fought, that is why i am more attracted to technical and flair fighters, and that is why for instance after watching Mayweather's performance against Marquez i declared that he will retire undefeated.
However Ngannou has so much speed and guile. Gane has the attributes i believe are superior but i don't think he will go through that fight without Ngannou catching him and ending the fight.
This is a legendary fight I never even knew happened
This was their 2nd fight
Legendary? Born with touch of death? Very very unimpressive
Its just my opinion tough, everyone is entitled to theirs..
Never knew? Lol u started wwtching MMA last week?
Yeah they always show his highlights will Alistair overeem so I didn't know about this fight either haha
And he's probably only getting better. Had Usman help with wrestling and Teddy Atlas help with boxing to defeat Stipe and now training with Glory heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven for Gane.
He or his team seems to know just what to do and how to key himself for specific opponents in the training for his fights.
Teddy changed him forever
2:14 do you guy's understand how hard it is to land that punch? The amount of power he has in a looping punch at such a weird angle is crazy he had no choice but to use that hand since Blaydes had his left hand pined and shooting for the takedown at the same time.
You can see him loading up that right hand, sneaky bastard, I love it
He wasn't even trying to hide that he was loading up.
Naganou fists are just massive hammers
MMA fans: Ngannou just has power
Ngannou: *performs a overhand right cross counter over the top of Blaydes's jab*
MMA fans: But Ngannou just has power
Me: 😑
Salty Jon Jones and stipe fans hate him
It’s not just that ngannou has power, he also has some pretty crazy hand speed, his footwork is good enough to get him into range fast, and he honestly rarely misses. This man doesn’t just swing and pray he actually sets up his power shots
This was the beginning of Ngannou's scary resurgence. People forget Blaydes was a big favorite.
Francis was on the verge of being cut by the promotion after two disappointing performances in a row against Stipe and Lewis. Many thought he was done by this stage allowing for Curtis Blaydes to takeover. Fortunately Francis recovered mentally and we got to experience his amazing career resurgence.
Серьёзно?
0:50 the reaction encapsulates perfectly the ominous peril that Ngannou is.
craziest freak of power in the history of the UFC imo. 2nd place I'd give to my guy Anthony Johnson, RIP
Forget Jones. ASPINALL VS NGANNOU IS THE FIGHT TO MAKE
I feel sorry for blaydes. He's an awesome fighter, really hope he works his way back to title shot again.
Learn krav maga, kung fu, jiu jitsu, whatever you want. This guy takes your head to a walk within 1 punch no matter what
00:50 the referee's running and reaction made me die laughing ...
Wtf is this royalty-free adult film music playing over the video?
That looked like Kevin hearts story. He was looking at his trainers like "who hit me from behind? "
I remember seeing this in slo mo. I knew Francis has power but he hit Curtis not even with his knuckles, and it was also half-blocked. Curtis still face plant. Damn.
Broooo shit tough man
I think the jab did some of that damage too, if not more. That weird hook just ended him
Every time you see a free fight and it’s a few minutes long you already know the Knockouts coming🤣👌🏽
Continuing the fight any longer would of just hurt Blaydes.
He had his hand loaded. Wrist turned and waited for that shot beautifully. Cant wait to see jon jomes in action against one of these 2
😔😔😔
This how you know Jones scared of this man. Jones skipped curtis to fight gane who has zero wrestling lol
Blaydes should be grateful the ref called it. He was not winning the fight no point being sent to shadow realm.
Damn I miss hearing Dan call fights.
Great stoppage by the referee ✅
Touch of death.
wooo impresionatee !!!!!! Ngannou se nota qu es un guerrrero africno full
Ngannou is prime and maxed out in power.
George Foreman of MMA.
I feel like Ngannou hesitated after the first clean shot because he thought it was immediately done and didn't want unnecessary strikes (maybe). Goddard gave Blaydes every chance to recover though.
Now you know who is the beast of ufc.
I’ve never been this early for a upload
Pressure on the refree is real with francis, few seconds late and he can literally kill the opponent.
Ngannou's highlights are usually pretty short cause he knocks almost every opponent in a very short time!
That first punch didnt land clean but damn the power Francis possesses is super scary.
If it's any consolation, Blaydes wasn't knocked out cold - was still trying to advance back to his feet, but credit to Ngannou.

@@Jasalexander-vv2uw again, disagree. Francis outfoxed Gane and Miocic the second time round. I think he's underrated in that aspect. Anyway, we can agree to disagree, and it doesn't really matter as Dana will make sure we never see that match up which is a shame!

I watched it like 10 times, and cried with laughter each time. Thanks Ngannou!!
That punched LAUNCHED him
Fun fact: Curtis was the favorite in this fight
Seems silly in hindsight, but remember this was just after Francis got dominated by Stipe with the experienced shell-shocking him to freeze against Lewis. There were questions regarding where he was at mentally, and many feared he would freeze up again against Blaydes. Thankfully he proved all the concerns wrong, but there was genuine concern he was never the same again after the first fight with Stipe, and I'm happy he went on a tear to avenge that humiliating loss.

For a second I forgot the result of this fight, then I saw the vid was 3 min long lol. Now I remember
Imagine if Francis had Blades wrestling
Oh! One of the best knockout that I view in my life.
Part of the reason for that power has to be them peaked up biceps. The forearms and bone density of the hands I think are the main thing but when backed up by those it's probably even more so.
It mainly plays a role where the muscle is attached to the bone when it comes to power
@@mangotangotf what do you mean?
Bone density is a part from hardcore training but it‘s anatomical. You can see this on the hardest punchers in boxing too. Wilder, klitschko haye. All long arms, long legs, very good power transfer from feet all the way to hand. If you look at Paulo Costa who is big and jacked too but the guy has almost zero Knockoutpower at all. He has short torso and short arms. Gets no real fast twitch power on
You're right about the density, but biceps no.
@@Andrei-sm3er isn't that the way the body works? Or even just life in general? The more mass you got the more force. The heavier the object the more damage it does if it falls on you. More muscle mass more force when striking.
I mean the power this man can generate 😲😲
Curtis Blades got starched by Francis the first time, wanted to do it again, got KO’d even worse, and still says he wants to fight him again. That’s an insane individual

I really don't understand why they even stopped the fight. Blaydes was up on HIS FEET before the judge called it over. At 1:01 if you look, Blaydes was on his feet READY TO DEFEND himself before the judges called the match. Even tho it was a year ago, the match in my opinion was a early call out. If the Judge did touch Ngannou early like he did, the match would have been able to continue.
