@@Epictronics1 You can also use the next size drill bit to deburr a hole in metal or plastic. You want to twist it with your fingers and just enough pressure to bite the burr.

You said you were going to do a budget build and spend as little as possible. Then ‘voilà’ you produce one of the nicest and expensive cases I’ve seen in a long time😂😂.

The North is not really expensive when you look at the whole case market. There are hundreds of cases way above 200 $ these days. It's not a 40 bucks banger but still pretty much middle class.

That hole you drilled in the PSU shroud is neat! While I was putting my own build together I kept thinking to myself that I wished that there were more holes for cable routing. Otherwise I really like the case!

A white computer is a good match for RGB lighting. Display Port to VGA adapters work very well in my experience. Display Port was designed for these adapters. With VGA becoming rare, it would be a good idea to get an adapter sooner than later as it might become difficult to get a good one.

Yeah, I've talked myself out of upgrading my daily driver for years now. Don't have a compelling reason to do it. Got lots of reasons not to: mainly, I built my computer case as a drawer that fits into the tower-shaped spot in my oak desk. Doesn't seem like ATX is going away any time soon, so I'll probably be good for a long while.

Funnily enough, I got a free Radeon HD 5870 where someone had done an LED strip mod on it lol. Since it was going in a windowless case, I took it out. In terms of HDMI to VGA converters, I got one for my file-server for about £4 or so (I'm not using a CRT monitor with it, but an old beige 15" LCD). It works nicely, and I haven't noticed much in the way of latency, although I'm sure it wouldn't be ideal for 240 fps competitive first-person shooters :)
