I love that they just tried to kill each other and yet he still pays for the water.
Well cuz there is no resentment, he just need a fall guy. But to be honest, that situation was nonsense. That girl pays no mind to the 2 with bruises and the chaotic car. So that scene was unrealistic.

The dude litteraly forced his way against the drag from the speed of a bullet train without anything to grab on, and then proceeded to punch through reinforced glass window...
I think it's to add to how ladybug would ironically use people's weapons to kill them, so tangerine just going ham had the upper hand on him.

All jokes aside, I thought that she would ended up being another assassin just hiding in plain sight, I do believe the filmmakers made the right decision of subverting expections with her character.
For me, ATJ upstaged Pitt big time. Tangerine and Lemon were by FAR my favorite characters.

Brad Pitt always struck me as a comedy actor stuck in serious roles. this movie proves it
To be fair, a comedy actor or comedian can absolutely nail far more serious roles than some "regular" actors. I mean the great late Robin Williams, Adam Sandler, Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, etc are great examples of that
They say he's the best character actor of his generation but cursed with leading man looks.
Check out ' Burn After Reading ' if you want to see Brad Pitt in prime comedy form in a drama role.
Chris Hemsworth is similar, goes from Thor to Extraction

Makes me think of the first 'Fiest' movie. They do some kind of "Character introduction". A guy comes into the bar, closing the door and telling everyone to buckle up. He's introduced as the "main protagonist" and 30 seconds later he get annihilated.
Pitt is almost twice older than Tangerine but still in a good shape. Just need a break and self-hydrate from time to time.
Tangerine is accustommed too fighting with winded old ppl His wife is 24 years olders than him!!!!! He was 18 she was 42 when they got together but i'm sure those numbers are iffy and he could have been younger! That is just predatory!!

Food on trains is always ridiculously overpriced and on top of that, since it's in a glass bottle, it's probably supposed to be some luxury brand. Because yes, there are luxury brands even for water. So I gotta agree with L M, I'm surprised it wasn't more.
Tangerine somewhat miscalculated it. The water was 1000¥ which is 6£. Still overpriced, though.
