The only Bond title that became an awesome movie AND an awesome video game. Actually, I would say the video game, GoldenEye 007, is even more classic than the movie.
I think that was a lady that got air bagged (ejector seated) on the chair. Also a good way to damage your tail bone, and suffer a tremendous amount of pain, with a stunt like that. I hope she had hazard pay or health insurance for pulling that off.
JD RS the chair was probably designed to protect the user or there was a cushion where she landed. Though judging by the crashing sound I’m not so sure lol.
I thought Cleese was funny but he was a finisher for an era of bond about to sign off. It took me a little while to get used to him but Ben Wishaw does a great job. The guys at the studio needed to make Bond more hip in general and Wishaw was a good choice for a younger and more authentic Q.

One day I was in Blockbuster with my parents, saw the cover, recognized that "HOLY SHIT, they made my game into a movie" and had to have it. I've seen every Bond move in the theatre since Tomorrow Never Dies, including some of the one off releases of the classics.
That explains why it's LHD. Still, it was a bit shit. I think the E36 M3 was also available and actually was in production: that'd be my choice if I had the option.

One of the unique things about this Bond film as opposed to the others is the music, I pretty much like it and the Goldneye game almost got it the same.

The first 2 acts of Skyfall were fantastic. The 3rd act removed all the stakes, all the tension, and turned it into Home Alone. Now Spectre, that is a pitiful excuse of a film. No redeeming points in that giant garbage fire.

James Bond should have flew on a Concorde, after all, the Concorde was still in use at the time this film came out, and British Airways was it's primary user, along with Air France
Nope unfortunately ive yet to see it. Why do you think it was a mess? Ive heard its one of the best yet.....and thats the whole point! The connection between Bond and Q has always been fun, thats what makes those scenes so enjoyable to watch. This video is a perfect example of that.

Desmond will always be Q. Pardon my opinion, but John Cleese and the young guy in the newer movies just pale to Desmond's humorous performance.
