Bond deserved that kiss at the end. He rescued her from the helicopter, fought his way out of the archive, chased her down in a tank, blew up a train, and kicked 006's ass, and then escaped from an exploding train car.
Is she smart and clever? Even with English as her second language, she knew it well enough to understand the question, but gave the most ridiculous answers. Does she not take her arse with her usually?
I would had liked for the Alec Trevalyan character to come back for the new films with Daniel Craig. They brought back Blofeld in Spectre, why not 006?
Pretty sure they are, the small gestures of you notice like her touching his shoulder and them smiling at each other, I’m sure they were probably lovers too beyond her being his most trusted lieutenant
I would've said the same thing if I was in a hurry to escape from a train armed with explosives and someone hits me with that question out of nowhere...
Looked everywhere for this scene. Loved the Alec x Natalya part; gave me chills. "To the victor go the spoils" first time I heard this phrase and thanks to Sean Bean's amazing delivery I never forgot it.
Ahahah I keep playing that slap back over and over and then over again.. Never gets old but looks to me, well from where I'm sitting, that's a firm NO!! XD
GoldenEye was the first movie I saw starring Sean Bean. Thus at first I knew him only as playing a villain, so it looked quite strange to me to see him as a one of the good guys in Lord of the Rings (although he was easily corrupted by the Ring, he was good at heart). No matter what he plays, he always does a good acting job (and dies often too...).
Natalya: Do you destroy every vehicles you get into? Bond: Standard Operating Procedures. Natalya: ... Bond: Boys with toys. I always lived that line XD
@@EchoBoomer1987 Definitely intended, watch the movie..... She loves torture, rough play and pain, even killed that old man in a tight squeeze with her legs.
That's debatable. Lest we forget Claudine Auger and Ursula Andres but at least we can all agree there's no such thing as an ugly bond girl. At least not yet
That touch and then when you see them smile at each other as they escape, yeah she definitely was his queen and he was her king, both psychotic, both originally from nations conquered by the Soviet Union (she was Georgian if memory serves, Alec though probably born in the UK was of Cossack lineage so most likely Ukrainian or Southern Russian descent) both fond of the finer things in life and willing to do whatever to get them.
@@thuurmans I would probably say Jane Seymour as Solitaire. Not only ridiculously hot but very cute as well. Denise Richards wouldn't make my top 24 but to each their own.
what i loved about this trio is that they weren't over the top wannabe villians. a simple 00 agent gone rogue, a general and.... oh well who cares she's really hot.
I can't agree more mate, I love this scene too! To make myself understand more, I played the game version on the Nintendo 64 first before I watched the film version again afterwards. Especially in the scene with the cutting laser on James's Omega Watch that he uses to cut a hole to escape from the carriage of that Missile Train that I remember doing in the video game version before watching it film version afterwards. Awesome!
Not necessarily I think he was just trying to mess with Bond’s head. I can easily see 006 dressed to impress like 007 in his MI6 heyday having little trouble taking a gorgeous woman to bed. Hell if you watch the little gestures Xenia does like touching his shoulder, and them giving a warm smile to each other when they’re escaping the odds are pretty good that she’s not only his trusted enforcer and field agent but probably his lover as well.
I always liked the stand-off scene here. Alec set up Aroumov perfectly to make for his getaway. He gives him the go-ahead to shoot Natalya but the focus should have been Bond since he is the deadly threat here. Bad move by Aroumov, when he still had to deal with the threat of Bond afterwards. He hesitated by obeying Alec’s order and it cost him, whereas Bond made the quick move to take out Aroumov quickly since he was the only other armed threat at that moment.
Matt Beilewech I agree 100% But hey it's a Bond movie. Where the villain will always leave Bond in an ridiculous escapable situation where his death won't be witnessed and they would just think that he is dead.
Ourumov would have heard the gunfire and knew what happened. He might have killed natalia, and bond would never have found out where the control station was.
Ouromov could of easily shot Bond in the back of the head and stop his dirty little secret from getting out in the open. Natalya is unarmed so she could easily of been killed too. And their evil plot would be complete!. But like in all Bond movies the Villain will always leave bond in a escapable situation where his death will not be witnessed and just presume that he's dead. Common sense to just pull the trigger!
What’s funny is that in the remake of Goldeneye for Wii and PS3 Bond’s warning about Alec betraying Ouromov came true with Xenia shooting Ouromov in the head with Alec saying thank you. But other than that and a few differences Goldeneye Reloaded wasn’t all that great.
006 didn't set the timer for 3 minutes! He set it for 90 seconds. In other words, he cut the time in half, just like 007 did all those years ago. 007 was right to suspect that 006 would cut the timer short.
I like the way they're in a train crashing against a bloody tank a 70 mph yet still managed to get away without a scratch with their hairdo perfectly fine. Movie logic.
Pierce Brosnan quantum of solace. The music says it all. It’s like we know bond can get out of that situation unharmed but at the same time he wants to die: like he has a death wish. The music conductor here was a genius John Barry would be so proud. I wish I could see this in imax big screen in 1995💁🤗😎
Best Bond villain of all time.. seriously.
Yeah Sean Bean plays a mean but cunning bad guy.
Can't agree more. 006 ranks as one of my top 5....and no Renard is nowhere near the top. Invincibility is not a fucking excuse to make a villain.
@@dicloniusgames Heh, no one's touting Renard as one of the best. You're defensive.

I really think you're right.
Sean Bean killed it in this movie. I love how cocky he is with Bond. You can tell Bond struggles with him. Such a badass villian
The best of the franchise IMO
Probably because unlike other villains Alec is a double o which in turn puts him on the same level as bond
@@Johno1992 very good point

Sean Bean would have made a great Solid and Liquid Snake in a Metal Gear film.
Xenia is a fantastic henchman for Alec. Loyal, ruthless and drop dead gorgeous.
And really kinky in the bedroom no doubt
"the same six minutes you gave me" "what does that meme?" "we've got three minutes" - greatest movie quote.

She looked so good in the next couple of scenes especially when she goes to check on Bond when they’re on the beach when she’s in that white bikini
He deserved more than a kiss. He deserved a whole BJ dude 💦

Best Bond girl, best villain, best villain #2, also Boris is hilarious.
Goldeneye really was a fantastic movie.
