      Be careful with the punch size. People are reporting their punch size is different. Don’t want you scratching the gun.

    The Ameriglo sights are poorly designed guys. Consider XS Sights instead.

    • @Kornholeeoo
      @Kornholeeoo  11 месяцев назад

      I don’t disagree at all but my gun is not sighted. It shoot to the left at anything past 10-15 feet. So it’s just a point and shoot, get off me gun. But it shoots reliably.

    Thx for the vid. I ordered one the other day and was hoping it came with a new pin. I got my punch stuck in the hole and it snapped off in there. Punched it out with a ground down finish nail and I can't find the roll pin.

      Glad you got it out though. I need to get a roll pin punch for this size. I was so happy my little mar wiped off. I had a 1/16th inch roll pin punch once. Just cannot find it right now.

      I sure don’t know. If I have some time later, I’ll try to find out. I’ll write back if I find it can. But I’m headed into a 2-day work weekend so it may be a few days. If you are on Facebook, there is a Taurus fan page and maybe someone on there will know. I got this off the Taurus website and there may be info there as well. Good luck and thanks for watching!!

    That ain't no 1/16th hole, I can 100% tell you that. Using the instructions on this video I definitely F'd up my guns finish quite a bit trying with a 1/16th punch. Smh

    • @Kornholeeoo
      @Kornholeeoo  Год назад

      My eyes ain’t what they used to be. I’m very sorry. I go by lining up the punch and this particular punch, the writing is about warn off. So I was guessing. I used to have a set of punches that had big lettering but I wore them out or broke them. This was the smallest punch I had and I thought it was a 1/16th.

    • @Kornholeeoo
      @Kornholeeoo  Год назад

      I just looked at the punch and it's so faint but it still looks like it says 1/16. But it's made in Taiwan, at least I think that's what it says. I had made 3 videos on this and I thought I said I think it's 1/16 but I was sick and my voice was cracking so bad that I went with this video version because my voice was audible better. Again, I'm so sorry.

    • @taasch2505
      @taasch2505 Год назад +2

      @@Kornholeeoo well what's done is done. No need to apologize. Apparently it varies from gun to gun. Some it's a 1.5mm, some 1.4mm, some 1/16th. Idk why Taurus does this but Apparently it's why most sight companies don't mess with their guns as I am now learning.

    • @Kornholeeoo

      @@taasch2505 I just saw a post on FB talking about this and I was thinking it was maybe you. Seems everyone has had problems but I changed the title to say it is NOT 1/16” punch. If it is a black finish, you can buy a touch up marker that looks like a magic marker with a blue cap. It a cold blue pen and it’s made for this. But be sure you soak the spot you touch up with oil soaked rag to stop the rust from forming.

    I installed the sight on my 856 and the night sight is useless. When the gun is on target, the tritium vial is so low that it's out of sight. I sent customer service two polite messages and got two identical "canned" responses saying they'd refund the price of the sight if I returned it but not the shipping. Then I sent them a firm response explaining again that the sight was faulty but they didn't respond. Years ago, I told myself I'd never do business with them again, but a friend told me that they'd gotten their act together so I thought I'd give them another try. I guess it was a mistake.
