First thing in decades I've seen from the BBC actually worth watching.
In all fairness the job the police do around Aviemore with so many crashes I'd not like to see or deal with the aftermath

Calling police over a broken branch....seriously? They should charge the caller with wasting police resources to force them to grow up! SMH Of all the things that the police could be doing, they have to waste time with petty squabbles? Gives a clue as to how immature those people truly are lol!

Right?!? Like you cant talk iut out and make some sort of agreement for passing through with your livestock? So strange to me. I live Rural and we have the same sort of thing happen here. We discuss and make agreements and thats that, we leave each other alone unless we see you needing help, then you get help. I dont get these people.

Why on earth do stupid people hike on their own? Think of the lives you put at risk in trying to find you 😢

Nothing wrong with hiking on your own, as long as you have the relevant experience, clothing and equipment and tell someone what your route is and ETA for return.
Thousands of people hike on their own every year without incident. Driving to the hike is statistically more dangerous.
Mountain rescue are fine with people hiking on their own, provided they are competent (can use a map and compass, reasonably fit, etc) and well equipped. The people that Mountain rescue think are stupid are people who more often than not are not on their own, but are totally ill equipped, not wearing appropriate clothing or footwear, no map, no torch etc.
Members of Mountain rescue will also go hiking on their own, it's not going solo that's the issue...

Behave, the army jas us in these locations where its every man for their own time.
There is a thing called global positioning, problem is most people don't purchase one.
When pressed it sends your exact location to a the US office then sent to relevant country and rescue.
It's not people on their own it's appropriate measures
