What a loss, miss her so much. Such an absolute jewel of a woman with an unforgettable voice, the most lovely one I’ve ever heard😍 She doesn’t even need the music♥️ Love you always Sinead💫💐💞
Always love her , utterly gifted and phenomenally talented . She was The one who had profoundly impacted this turbulent world . No one would be ever able emulate her . Blessed yet crucified
I disagree we would listen to it here in New Zealand but then many of us had Irish Greatgrandmothers and the soulfulness and sadness has been passed down to us 😔☘️
I’m simply in love with this woman and I am so sad AND DISGUSTED with myself that I forgot about her for so many years. I loved her first two albums when they came out and then forgot about her until now. How sickening of me. I loved her then and I love her now and I am so sad she’s gone.
My feelings exactly. Saw her concert for Lyons and the Cobra then wasn't as happy when she had commercial success as her song changed alot than lost track of her work. Big mistake.
So sad she had postpartum depression and the doctors diagnosed her off social media bs. May she rest in peace. Her voice is like she once said a prayer.. it really is angelic and beautiful. She was so ahead of her time. She saw truth where it lay right there in your face, not where others try to make you believe. ❤
godd*mn it! i miss her. what an incredible, beautiful person. not only did she have that voice, but her songwriting and guitar playing were also amazing. RIP Sinead. i hope you are at peace 🙏🏻
She was such a beautiful human being. I understand her broken heart and need to be with her son but oh what a loss for this world. God bless you Special Lady
I love the fact that she tells you the truth and does not give a rat's ass what you think. She is unapologetic about it. I also find it sad that many "artists" of today never really talk about the things that matter and usually sing about "safe" topics such as drugs, sex and materialism. She is unique in a sense that she shies away from fame and all of its trappings and instead, focuses on her music and the message she is trying to get through to people.
Yeah they ("artists") have this great opportunity to talk about important things that could heal many people, but instead they speak about basically nothing which is a huge shame. Meanwhile REAL artists are dying out, but thankfully we still have Sinead and Bob Dylan around so yeah there are still real artists with real music, but not a lot...
She is an amazing human being and has most beautiful eyes with smile. It’s very unusual to see a huge celebrity like her , there’s no chips on her shoulders and painfully honest to herself and speaks for people with no voices with kindness words makes me in tears. She was truthful to herself and enchanted prayer songs for peaceful world. RIP Snead! 🙏💗💗💗😘
She is so powerful. I think that's why she's had so much trouble. Its not always easy for women to carry off that type of power. So glad she has grown into it. She inspires all women to do the same.
+Amy Manley I'm seriously blown away. Something needs to be done to bring women like her into power....but she wouldn't want it....women so need this. She is in her feminine power already, she wouldn't want status...it's just that the rest of the world has to catch up on what that means for all of us. All of us need to claim our unique power> a power that loves the whole of creation: Buddhist Christian, call it what you will....along those lines....without the bullshit tho. Peace & Love. True :-)
Amy Manley not just powerful but also a gentle soul that cares for others so much and intelligent mind , and with how the world is being run by evil supremacist and what they're doing to maintain in control, that must take a toll on such a kind, smart person like her, I'm glad and happy for her that she now has embraced Islam, insha'aAllah it will nourish and strengthen her good character, she has a heart of gold 💛
You could have a full semester course on Sinead O'Connor. Her rise to stardom, her personal difficulties, trials, and triumphs. Her music, causes, and untimely end due to mental instability (alleged) and heartbreak. The world imo failed this great woman.
Exactly what I’m doing since she really was not in my radar while I raised kids with no TV. So sad I missed it all but I wouldn’t have appreciated her like I can now after the heartbreak of my own and life I’ve lived. I feel her so deeply. The tears keep coming. She is a such a beautiful spirit ❤
What Sinead said about the way people talk and treat those seen as mentally ill or crazy are then seen as invalidated and nothing they say has any credibility. The analogy she made of if someone had two broken legs then its like having to walk down the road as if you didn't. What she says about crazying people in order to silence them or censor them...this is so true. The crazy label is used all too often to silence inconvenient people and as she said she was suffering with the effects of trauma which I believe most people who get called crazy are. Just wish she was still here with us...
Sinead always gives the most amazing hugely entertaining interviews; The second song she sang was utterly incredible, The feeling and passion she put into that song ...Wow!
Truly an "AMAZING" woman with incredible talent..........(30) years AHEAD of her time in "Everything"...from Music to Awareness to Fashion. I I could meet this Lady before I die...I wouldn't need anything else in my Bucket-List.
Sinead had the full passage. Her powerfull voice musician.spoke her mind and for the vulnerable. Glad had pleasure meeting her very kind caring person .r.i. p 😢🌹
She was a deep soul, so full of devotion to her beliefs. She was articulate, sensitive, and brilliant. “I am stretched out on your grave.”…so sad🥲 She ached for the loss of her son in 2022. I pray she is resting in peace, In the presence of Jesus with her son.❤️
How haunting to hear Beloved Sinéad/Shuhada sing "I am Stretched on Your Grave", a Celtic lament from centuries ago! I'd only heard Brendan Perry from Dead Can Dance sing it before, but this gave me chills! May Allah (swt) nurture her as she deserves, she was a magnificent woman and so loyal to her convictions and the to the downtrodden. I love and miss her. May she be at peace after everything she gave, represented and suffered xXx
she was blessed with beauty and has tried as hard as possible to hide it so she could be taken seriously as an artist and not fit into any particular stereotype and i respect that. i hope one day as a woman that females will be taken seriously without the need to try.
I was just thinking that it Is a pity that she had to try to down play her femininity in order to be taken seriously. However, her sacrifice has gained MY respect. I love this woman and what she stands for.
The key for a woman to be taken seriously is for them to not take men so seriously. It works, too. It's been my experience that the more I do not give a shit about what people think, the more they seem to respect me. It's fucked up, but it works.
Sinead O'connor I love you, And I mean it 100%. You are a true legend and a powerhouse, Your voice and sencerity makes my heart go weak. You beautiful, beautiful angel x

I can’t imagine Sinead not receiving ample support & love from close friends & family. She accused them of this while online depressed & alone. It makes no sense in light of her wonderfully candid personality. Tragic. ❤️🙏
There aren’t many artists willing to sing acapella . She had an amazing voice and the bravest of hearts. RIP Sinead.
I saw her say she can't bring a band so did primarily live tv etc shows unaccompanied.
Yes phenomenal voice💖🌌🍀
❤
I love this. With all the sadness surrounding Sinéad right now it is so nice to pause and reflect upon her in a happier time. RIP Sinéad. 💔
😊
Yes. So many speaking as if she had no good times ever and received no love ever and that all she knew was suffering.
Sinead was born enlightened & most people were not ready for someone like her. She was from another world. No one compares to Sinead. RIP my love. ❤❤❤
In a league of her own. The song is incredible. A legend. Period.
She still sends shivers down my spine her voice is like no other.Just amazing.Beautiful inside and out.
She’s not only a fantastic singer and song writer, she has an incredible voice and personality.
❤

I’ve never missed a ‘celebrity’ who died, until Sinéad. Hope I get to meet her in the next life 🤍

This is how I want to remember Sinead: absolutely glowing with health and happiness 🌟🦋❤️
Watching this interview and appreciating her talent I feel so sad that we've lost this beautiful soul.
What an incredible woman and artist.
Only in Ireland would you sing "I am stretched on your grave" for a Christmas episode- and the audience love it! ❤️
Lol👍🏻😁💖🌌🍀
I disagree we would listen to it here in New Zealand but then many of us had Irish Greatgrandmothers and the soulfulness and sadness has been passed down to us 😔☘️
Now that's the truth!
It’s a gift to be able to celebrate life’s difficulties
Sinead 'O' Conner is pure magic. Real ist woman, in celebrity land, I have ever seen RIP beautiful human being in so many ways.

That was an incredible performance. Not even a performance, she was living the song.
She was so so talented & funny too. Such a complex lady!

What a gift she was to have been walking this earth. An extraordinarily fearless human, speaking truth to evil.
Well put. X .

Still one of the greatest, most heart-warming smiles ever!
R.I.P Sinéad O'Connor, what a voice!

Gone to soon, never forgotten ❤
I can relate to so much of what she's saying, RIP angel. You were a real one 😢

In the end, the world did her in. I hope it's satisfied. Probably not.
And men too ❤ and that isn't a dig at anything.
I'm 50 and feel pretty depressed by the UN-MUSIC business 😢
I love how she’s having a blast with her birthday trifle!!
Well, I am a fan and she's always been my favorite since 1989. She blows all other female artists till this day. Sinead rocks.
The most beautiful female voice !! and a great personality !!
Yes. and soul.
Most definitely ❤
Agreed
When she sings it's like you really believe every word she says, she sings with such power and emotion, rooms silent, her voice speaks.

She sounds and looks good. It's nice to see someone with that much talent, is still on the scene, making music.
Sad to lose such an enigmatic character, a true star in every way. She rocked in every manner of the word
She slays me in so many ways….
Breathtaking. RIP Sinead
Amazing talent voice and soul. I have always loved and supported her ...and will continue to do so 😢❤
She's so cool and fun. Great to see her looking so good and feeling happy off the meds. And, of course, her mellifluous voice is as strong as ever.
She certainly was one of a kind.. R.I.P. Beautiful soul 🙏❤🙏
She is one of the few people in show business that has a perfect face.

Singing to her is like riding a bike. Pure, natural talent.

Words to the song are:
"I'm singing this song for my sister Sinead
Concerning the god awful mess that she made
When she told them her truth just as hard as she could
Her message profoundly was misunderstood
There's humans entrusted with guarding our gold
And humans in charge of the saving of souls
And humans responded all over the world
Condemning that bald headed brave little girl
And maybe she's crazy and maybe she ain't
But so was Picasso and so were the saints
And she's never been partial to shackles or chains
She's too old for breaking and too young to tame
It's askin' for trouble to stick out your neck
In terms of a target a big silhouette
But some candles flicker and some candles fade
And some burn as true as my sister Sinead
And maybe she's crazy and maybe she ain't
But so was Picasso and so were the saints
And she's never been partial to shackles or chains
She's too old for breaking and too young to tame”
