Great Job sir!But I have a little advice that I’d like to pass on.If it’s available, you should wrap a small piece of duct or electrical around the tip of wire.This will not only improve grip, but prevent you from scratching the lock switch, handle, or inner panel as well.Also, although a pen will work, a plastic or rubber door stop is much better makeshift door wedge. P.S. Just so you know, when it comes to cars that have lock buttons on the top of the doors(Like with earlier years of the Accord), use this tool(Which can be made by cutting a 1/2”X12” strip from a plastic gallon milk or water jug, folding it half, and placing two two 1” pieces of tape of the inside tip for grip.
