    You need to insert the air wedge so that at least a 1/4 of it is visible inside the vehicle. Otherwise, you won’t be getting maximum purchase on the frame, and it won’t open a large enough gap (requiring you to use a second one) and/or it can slip out. Also, remove the long reach tool and deflate the wedge before you open the door. (Opening it with wedge pressure in place risks warping the frame and/or damaging plastic components within the latch mechanism.)

      It's a nice idea in theory, but you cannot always get the first air wedge in that far, that is why they usually come in pairs. every seal is different

    Two things deflate the bags before opening door and more importantly clean your car.

    I hope you don't have a European car with safe lock. essentially you can't unlock the car from the inside until you disable central locking. method is up to you.

      Sure don't! I'm guessing you would already know that before trying! haha! 😊👌

    Yea cept i was inside and the door was locked. I could see the keys from the window but i couldn't get them cause the door was locked. After the first week i basically gave up. I had consumed all the ketchup packets and couldn't drink anymore of my urine cause it had gotten really strong. I was about to commit suicide because no one came lookin for me when i thought what the heck and i checked the passenger side and BAM it was opened. I passed out as the paramedics were almost to me. I woke up 4 weeks later from a coma and guess what?! Im pregnant.

      That's an amazing story! You should write a book! Lesson learned: Never leave home without ketchup packets

    If your car has a mechanical lock, those locks are not hard to pick

    • @TutorialGenius
      @TutorialGenius  День назад

      But then you need a pick to match the lock type (Like a Lishi or whatnot), and that's if the door has a lock for a key. Unless you're talking about a jiggler, which is very hit and miss. Most cars don't have locks these days, so if I had something in my toolbox, it'll probably be this.

    • @electraelpindrai1964
      @electraelpindrai1964 День назад

      @@TutorialGenius A simple set of picks is all you need, and you can pick them up quite cheaply, they are also not difficult to make either. However 2 in 1's are really nice to use and takes basically all skill out of it, But then you need to buy a new very expensive pick for each keyway.
      You can pick most mechanical locks with a hook pick and tension wrench, if you have enough time, most sets will comes with rakes which gets the job done much faster

    • @TutorialGenius
      @TutorialGenius  День назад

      @@electraelpindrai1964 I have a video coming soon on picking and wafer locks, so perhaps you'll be interested it that :)
      If you're in the know, and it applies to the car, then I'm sure it could potentially be a quicker approach. For a beginner who just wants to get into their car, no matter the lock design (or lack thereof), I would say this is the better method with more reach

    • @TutorialGenius

      wow, so entitled! Complaining about free information on the internet. Unbelievable. You're only here because you locked your keys in your car. You're not really in any position to critisize anybody.
      and talking about efficiency. You made a 16 minute workout video where you spent over 10 minutes on the floor dying.
      Nice try 💅
