  • In this episode, the team is at Rocky Mountain College in Billings Montana tearing up an old gym floor and prepping it for a new floor. This job did not come without its challenges. This was by far one of the most challenging jobs we have faced.

    Just wondering how you deal with the new floor under the bleachers

      We removed the old floor & installed the new one, then we disconnected the bleachers from the wall and rolled them onto the middle of the floor. After the flooring under the bleachers is replaced, the bleachers are rolled back to the wall and re attached.

      Great Question!!
      We hire a bleacher company to move them out into the center of the gym. Remove, replace, sand & finish next to the wall. Then move the bleachers back into place.
      Needless to say….. it’s a process!

      @@pastortbell Lots of variables here.
      One trick that sometimes works, is to drill a small hole in the floor at the dead spot & fill the void with expanding foam.
      This does not work in all cases.
