The bathroom convo is reminding me of a neighboring highschool i went to for a track meet, which had recently been renovated, and instead of urinals it just had like one giant, stainless steel, wall to wall trough you could piss in. The toilets were also stainless steel, which was interesting considering it was winter so you just had to put your bare ass on freezing metal
Dan getting trapped in a room with the monster and singing Christmas carols to escape the terror is very on brand for him. I can't explain why, but its just a very RT thing to do

I can't believe they might've forgot that they must "Blind it and RUN". Simply put: flash your light at the monster, and it'll stay immobilize for a couple of seconds. This should give you enough time to run away. And if you don't have a flashlight, they're literally at the starting point. There should be enough for one each.

Does Spiff pitch-shift his voice for his videos? I've only seen a handful of videos with him that are not on his channel, and I'm always surprised by how much higher-pitched he sounds.
yeah i definitely know what you mean. i think his voice on his actual videos is very calm and cool bc hes just monologuing alone, but keeping that tone up in a horror situation and in a real conversation with friends at the same time wouldnt be too easy
So I just found an old reddit thread where he answered the exact question. He said he does do some EQing and he also plays it up using his "Posh" persona, which he can only do for so long, so on podcasts and streams, etc, he doesn't do it or else he'd go crazy.

I miss those random videos of liminal spaces. They’re both weirdly entertaining and also extremely horrifying to me. Abandoned malls, flooded places, I never even touch the thalassophobia ones. The “entities” sadly give it that zoomer meme feeling and sour the concept for me, I find it more interesting when the liminal space _is_ the SCP, you know?
The actual lore and concept of the backrooms had so much potential, it really is unfortunate it got turned into mass produced children content then memes to all hell

I love that they make a big fuss of chat saying "Streamers :facepalm:" and how it's about them playing the game without doing a bunch of research beforehand, all the while they continuously struggle against the dog monster without ever once using their flashlights to blind it, despite having vocalized to each other that that was the strat multiple times at the beginning of the section. Ah, streamers.
