This is a TERRIBLE VIDEO. Don't copy what he did. The boot was damaged. Lots of dirt and other foreign matter would have gone into the CV joint. He's supposed to disconnect it, thoroughly cleaned it, repack the grease and then put on a new boot. It's a fail!
FAILED!! You're removing a damaged boot, therefore dirt would have gone into the CV joint. You're supposed to have disconnected the shaft, cleaned it. Re-greased it BEFORE you put on a new boot. I can't believe you Japanese would do such a poor job!

I have a 2004 second hand. Lots of issues from poor maintenance, but I like it.
