Yes, you HAVE to play in the special challenges that clash royale runs every month. I do live streams on this channel to show how to beat them. There will be a mortar evolution challenge later this month that will give shards. The earlier firecracker, royal giant and barbarians challenges gave 3 free shards total and there were 2 free ones in the shop as well. Clash has said they will continue to give shards for free as long as you play in the special challenges 🙌

SirTag, your rhyming is impeccable my friend. 13:53 you can hear him accidentally call the morter an xbow, but takes a half second to realize his opponent has xbow, finishes the statement in relation to what his opponent has, then tie it together with his actual morter and rhyme it. Incredible haha! I mean you seriously have to have practiced some of these rhymes right?
With the amount of firecracker evolutions I’m playing I swapped the hog rider and earthquake out for miner and fireball. I’m sure your version is better at the top if you know all the perfect placements but I’m finding the version I made a lot easier to play

Update season has been action-packed, so I've been playing a TON! I'm loving evolution's new mechanics spicing up the gameplay, BUT I'm hoping they nerf all evolution's health points while keeping the cool mechanics to make them a bit fairer. It's awesome that we get the feeling of a brand new card or two getting released every month with new evolutions, so for once I can finally get hyped about new seasons 🙌

I was waiting for this vid! As someone who's maimed Hog Rider, and mains mostly mortar and GY rn, I wanted to try and make a mortar hog deck but was struggling. I'm bouta finally hit 7500 with this deck!
Musketeer is 100% better because you can't use the evolved firecracker since this is an evolved mortar deck. You need the stability of the musketeer or you're going to get arrowed and lose instantly to lava & balloon decks; I wouldn't have been able to delete the egiant & inferno dragon at 4:30 or beat the balloon player at 11:07 without the high damage & dependability of the musketeer
been using this deck since last season, when i found out about the mortar evo ive been winning ~80% of my games and maxed the diamond pass on the 3rd day
Definitely underrated BUT it needs to be in the right type of deck. For instance great with balloon & ram rider to make sure they get connections, but bad with electro giant since you get all the value from the e giant reflections, not the e giant attacking I like rage a LOT with the correct win conditions if I don't need a zap to reset infernos in the deck

Sparky is a card that is built to convert defense into offense swiftly and punish ANY opponent that overcommits in single elixir. If anyone cycles a melee card in the back like a valkyrie or royal hogs at river, defending with the sparky to get a 4-5+ elixir advantage and spamming at the river with a goblin giant & mini pekka is the most consistent way to win with sparky

If you're going to spend money anyway on the game, pass royale is the best value --- but if you aren't going to spend money, don't feel forced to! It's up to you if you want to make that choice or not since I don't know your financial situation / the enjoyment you personally get from this game
I stole that off top ladder and went ham first day and still. Lost like 5 in a row to minions and air stuff so I swapped in arrows for log and it worked for a bit. Skeleton army and goblin gang were messing me up so I swapped back. This works fine with out the mortar evo too. A lot of times I had already taken a tower before I got to my mortar evo
