      Accurate! asset allocation is crucial with an Experts guidance. I have 850k in equity, 300K cash earning 5.25 interest, 685k in 401k, 250k cash account, 120k in car assets ( paid off cars) Gold and silver bars. age is 48. I’ve been hearing a lot about Roth IRAs lately, and I’m thinking about opening one. It seems like a great option for long-term retirement savings, but I don’t really know where to start.

    • @georgeearling905
      @georgeearling905 8 дней назад

      I looked into Roth IRAs a while ago. They’re really beneficial if you want your retirement withdrawals to be tax-free. I think the best part is that you pay taxes upfront, so you don’t have to worry about paying taxes later when you take the money out, which can be a huge advantage.

    • @AliciaCrone
      @AliciaCrone 8 дней назад +1

      Exactly! That’s what appealed to me too. I started a Roth IRA a few years ago. The fact that you don’t have to pay taxes on the growth when you retire is a big deal, especially if you expect to be in a higher tax bracket when you're older.

    • @cherylhills3227
      @cherylhills3227 8 дней назад

      The big difference is with a Roth IRA, you contribute money that’s already been taxed, and then the growth and withdrawals in retirement are tax-free. With a traditional IRA, you might get a tax deduction upfront, but you’ll pay taxes when you withdraw the money later.

    • @ericbergman7546
      @ericbergman7546 8 дней назад +1

      The Roth is really great if you expect to be in a higher tax bracket in retirement.

    • @sebastiaanthijn7982
      @sebastiaanthijn7982 8 дней назад

      And the fact that you can withdraw your contributions at any time without penalties is a huge benefit, especially if something unexpected happens. It gives you more flexibility. But yeah, starting a Roth IRA can definitely feel a bit daunting when you’re just getting into it.

  • @NicholasBall130
    @NicholasBall130 2 месяца назад +527

    Investing in Roth IRA can be a good choice since they are funded with after tax dollars, your contributions can grow tax-free over time. When you withdraw money from your Roth IRA in retirement, you won’t have to pay tax on it, which will help you keep more of your hard-earned money. I retired with 5 million dollars

      The market is not necessarily a rollercoaster if you know your way around the market, there are various opportunities in the present market to accrue good profit, If you are not too savvy with the market, just buy and hold on strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors on ETFs and actively managed funds. that’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 30% capital growth minus dividends.

    For a long time, I got caught up in lifestyle inflation. Every time I got a raise, I found a way to spend more, and soon enough, what felt like luxuries became part of my daily life. I think this happens to a lot of people, but it took me a while to notice. When I finally stopped and reevaluated what really mattered to me, I realized I could redirect that money toward savings and investments instead. Now, I’m on track to reach $4 million in retirement savings, which honestly feels surreal. And to top it off, I've developed a habit of watching finance content, something I used to avoid like the plague

    This was great, I am late to the game, investing is confusing and I'm just starting the journey of learning. I really liked all the visual stuff, as someone with adhd, i sometimes have a hard time keeping my focus if there is not visual ques or the speaker is slow...but you can always speed up the video. 🤣 I would encourage you to keep the video format and presentation as is, because it gives a good overview, we still see you and it's not overly busy. I love when you do the bullet point style, that's how my brain works. Thanks for all your hard work!

    I opened an ROTH IRA at the age of 27 and put the maximum amount possible for 2024. I feel foolish for letting my life fall into order so slowly. The issue at hand is how to invest the funds most profitably in order to save for retirement

      You're 27 years old. It is alright. The compound interest period has begun. To build a strong foundation and reduce risk while maximizing gain, I think all investors should begin with ETFs. From there, they should diversify across a range of asset classes and continue to invest consistently and systematically

      You do not need to locate the next NVIDIA to be successful in investing. Simply choose top tier ETFs and work with a financial counselor, as I did. I turned $90,000 into $53,000 in annual dividends, which is a huge accomplishment for me today

      Impressive! I admit I'm scared about retirement as I turn 60 on my next birthday. I need to ensure I have enough money to survive on. How can I consult your advisor? My retirement account isn't performing well

      ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy’’ is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name online you will find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment
