(World Record 1/16/2022) Atelier Ryza 2 Legendary Speedrun in

So the story behind this speedrun is a bit interesting. I initially tried playing Ryza 2 Legendary when the game first came out a year ago, but quickly determined I hated the run and wasn't interested in it. At the time the only strat being used was to make the item Rose Bomb - an item that's very likely bugged and doing 10~30x more damage than intended. Personally, I didn't find the game fun while using that item, so I dropped it and never ran it after that.
A couple weeks ago I decided to come back to the game... but with the mindset of a full re-route, with one major restriction: no rose bomb allowed. And this is what I ended up with, a route that's very fun to run and is surprisingly competitive with the rose bomb route. I think if the rose bomb route was optimized further, it could edge this one out by a few minutes, but at the time of this run it's the fastest anyone's ever beaten the game on legendary difficulty. I'm very happy with that and this current time, though I may go for sub 4 hours eventually.
Maybe in the future someone will come back with rose bomb and bop me... we'll just have to see lol. I surely won't be doing it - the item drains all the fun out of speedrunning this game imo.
