    Oh man, another plant I have to trim post harvest? 🤣 Kidding. I do want to try growing more tea ingredients if you have any other tea's that are easy to grow.

    I grow a couple varieties if shiso. Along with everything you mentioned, it also makes great pesto. Never thought to make a tea out of it. Might have to give it a try this year.

    Thanks for the info! I used to eat this in Japan and suddenly got a bunch as random weeds in my garden. Such a huge blessing!!!

    I grew this 1 year and it tasted just like stink bugs smell? Tasted nothing like it did when I ate at a restaurant. I couldn't find any bugs on the plant. Anyone else ever had this issue?

      Maybe what you're growing is not Shiso, more like skunk vine.

      @@KhangStarr maybe the seeds were mislabeled but it looked just like shiso. I'm not familiar with skunk vine, so I will have to look it up
