10 Hours! Colored Pencils CAN'T! Realistic Portrait Drawing Tutorial (Part 2)

‪@BMDPortraits‬ shares another realistic portrait drawing tutorial not with colored pencil but pastel pencil. Using Pastel Pencil (Stabilo Carbothello & Gioconda) on sanded paper that I made from scratch and a reference photo that I needed to finish during the showing of the movie (Barbie), contributed to making and finishing this portrait in less than 10 hours. If you are a colored pencil portrait artist like myself It might take you at least 30 hours to finish a portrait, that is why I want to share this tutorial to all portrait artists.

What kind of soft pastels did you use? I love the drawing and am a colored pencil artist switching to soft pastels.

I use Stabilo and Gioconda pastel pencils, & Toison D'Or soft pastel chalks, I suggest using sanded paper
