My touch screen in my work truck stopped responding to touch, everything else worked and I could control it with the controls on the steering wheel but no touch...this worked, the favorite button is on the steering wheel and the telephone button is on the dash and it worked!!
I found out how you do it! There's a little hole besides the power/volym button that you can but a smal object inside, like a toothpick and that resets the software.
My dealer replace the radio and the wiring harness to try and fix this problem. Still came back. Wish I would have found this before going through all the trouble.
Hi I have an issue with my 316cdi 2020 Driving home talking on handsfree .it suddenly cut out and there's a quite buzzing /hum sound coming from behind lcd touchscreen display..I've uninstall phone reconnected it ..phone connects ..but also have lost all audio ..radio dab says no signal ..and volume refuses to be turned down ..stuck on high ..with no sound ..can u help ?
Besides trying to pull the dash apart to see if the cables have loosened, the only practical way of ensuring a complete reset is removing the radio fuse in the fuse panel and turning off the vehicle for some length of minutes to clear the memory. Good luck, sorry I couldn’t be of help!
It can be some problem with esp system? Yesterday i turn off esp because I want to test it, when i came home I turn engine off esp powered on. That was really surprising for me.
@@killacam8743 ensure you hold the correct buttons down, and do not release till you see the Mercedes symbol. If you don't have the exact model I have, look for the same featured buttons and hold them as well. It has worked for many variations I have worked with.

Would this work if the screen goes black when reverse gear is selected (ie reverse camera not working but otherwise screen works)?

I've got the same problem with my VITO 2019. Can I do a soft reset on that one too? I don't have the same buttons as this one.
