In this movie I have downloaded the drivers via the official Canon web page and installed the drivers. The setup is very simplae but there are some hints which may be helpful in some occasions.
The printer has 3 versions, LBP6030 and LBP6030B are without wifi in 2 colors, B=black. LBP6030w is the wifi version, which supports printing from smart devices. You can print from Android devices using Canon Print plugin or Canon Mobile printing App, or you can print using iOS device and Canon Mobile printing App for iOS.
Got mobile print-from-phone working, so thank for that. But, how can I print wirelessly from the computer? The Canon Office Printer Utility App doesn't do a darn thing--won't even register that the printer's status (but it does acknowledge that its there)
Does it allow this settings?

Hi, you can connect, pritner has only wifi, but with laptop you can be connected to router via cable.
I got " the printer does not support a wireless Lan connection " what does it mean

I am stulled in the Canon login where you have to pick: system manager mode, and then login. When i click login, it says "Bad request... PLEASE HELP :(
Try 7654321 for password, I am not sure if it will work

can you connect printer without modem by wifi
There is no WiFi Direct in the specs, probably only via wifi router

Hello, Thank you so much for the solution it very helpful and very easy to configure
If your trying to print using an IPAD, you have to install the Canon "Business" app and not the other Canon printing apps because they will ask you for a code. (the Canon Business app is free. ) Once you install the Canon "Business" app on your ipad, you have to open that app 1st, then you can surf the web or access your photos to print from the app. The lbp6030w is not air print compatible.
+Mark W I forgot to mention, that i installed the printer using a windows 8 laptop (you should be able to use a mac as well), then plug in the USB to the laptop (just like the video above) and once its on your wireless network, the blue light will be solid and you can unplug the USB cable. Once that is solid, you should be able to add the printer using that business app mentioned above.
I tried to get ip address but there are only zero in ip address plz help
Maybe you can sheck in your router settings about the printer IP? If you get zeros, then probably printer is not connected to the network yet.

The reason I gave 4 stars for tech support (which I don't think this would classify as tech support) is because once you turn the printer on, it does require a little bit of start up time which may bother some who are in a hurry to quickly print something. To offset that though the printer prints very quickly. I would definitely purchase this printer again.
