Finally a review in English👌 was good to see the terrain it can tackle. Would like to get myself one since I'm living in Vietnam, and big bikes here cost way too much money. Thank for the video😁
Great review, also like the KLX 230 review...as you say these 2 bikes are in direct competition with each other..and both great bikes for Indonesian riding conditions
what the owner said is true. I also curious between WR155R and KLX230. The suspension especially, heard its really-really plush on the 230. power wise, 230 will sure wins
Sir , I want to talk about this .. Do you want to replace your Versys 250 with this bike? I heard that wr 155 also good in tarmac.. And I little bit confuse about buying a Versys 250 or this little Yamaha.. Because when I choose little Yamaha I can spend a little money for another trip. But I don't mind with Versys 250 price.
Yamaha just launched WR155 in Nepal 🇳🇵 at the price of USD 5800. I am tempted to upgrade my Yamaha XTZ 125 because it lacks the torque to comfortably climb hills and mountains of the Himalayas. The Honda CRF 250 does very well in the mountains but is priced much higher. Were you able to keep up with the CRF or is the torque comparable to the CRF250? Thanks!
@sidth78 yes they are very similar, 24 hp for the CRF and 16.4 hp for the WR155r, same top speed around 110km/h, now keep in mind that a 250 will always be more torquey
@@Buledoyanmotor Thanks for the reply. Torque is more important to climb mountains than the top speed. Was the torque enough for you to go uphill easily?
Hey man. Thank you so much for your videos. I am considering the wr155r new, changing stock seat to something more comfortable VS a 2019 klx250 with 20k on the clock and used as a rental bike. I will almost always be using the bike as a commuter/ city bike. Any opinion on which bike I should go for? Thanks again.
Don't buy a rental bike, rental bikes are always abused by the people that rent it. It might not seem that way but believe me i work at a bike rental place.
Did you ever read the data on the KLX230? Kawasaki say it is built with trail riding in mind yet fitted with awful tires and awful suspension. Yamaha got it spot on with thisbike

Thanks, just be careful with the exposed radiator and plastic water pipes, it needs protection
@@Buledoyanmotor Awesome, thank you for the advice. Will look into that when I get one👌
Finally an English review of this beautiful bike, thankyou

Thank you for watching !!!
Nice blog as always, Happy new year to you and Aldo. Keep it shiny side up.
Thanks Greg, happy new year to you too !!!
Here in Thailand at least three guys have developed radiator guards and can be found on Facebook in the WR155R groups
Good to know
Please send it to India. We all r waiting Yamaha team
How many do you want in the container 😜
In nepal it is lunch bro
@@MNR0006don’t lie it’s 8 am no one does lunch during that time
Nice bike WR 155 👍👍
Excellent bike
Nice sir ! Subscribed 👌🏾
Keep going !
Thank you
Just bought one of these to customize. Seems like a great little bike and good value. Same power-to-weight ratio as my CRF Rally 😅
True, good choice 👌

I will try the KLX 230, this week, i will tell you soon what i think about it
The WR155R is far more powerful than the KLX230 and suspension is superb. In my opinion the KLX230 is inferior in many ways

Hi, I replaced my Versys X-tourer with the new Hunter Maverick 500cc
What do you recommend for traveling around the world? a second hand CRF250 rally or a new WR155 R or new KLX230?
Around the world CRF 250 Rally definitely
Ok subtitles are fixed !!
Nice blog sir.. Nice bike WR 155R.. Hope we could ride together.
Let's try

@@Buledoyanmotor Thanks for the reply. Torque is more important to climb mountains than the top speed. Was the torque enough for you to go uphill easily?
@sidth78 no, its light enough to climb but the traction is not there, a Kawasaki KLX 230 would do better
@sidth78 ruclips.net/video/EI5rIX_LKJs/видео.htmlsi=1-WmLaD02eSZRGFG here is the KLX 230 in comparison

If mainly city ride, I would go for the WR155R new, great mileage and lighter for sidewalk jumps lol 😆😜

I liked the Kawasaki KLX230 more actually
The radiator is too exposed and vulnerable. On the CRF’s and KLX250 the tank plastics protect the radiator
It's what worries me when I saw it, it needs to be protected
What would buy second hand Honda CRF 250 of new wr155r help
CRF 250 With no hesitations
@@Buledoyanmotor thanks much appreciated is there much differences between 2013 to 2017 in your opinion
Not much
@@Buledoyanmotor nice one 👍
@@Buledoyanmotor why Sir?
nice vlog
salam kenal dari Sragen
Thanks 😊
Just buy big bore kit 200cc+juken5 ecu you can get 23-25hp on wheel
Never ever bore up an engine in my book, it just ruin the bike, buy a bigger cc bike is always better
I like wr155 between crf or klx
The KLX230 is my favorite for approximately the same price, but I honestly liked the WR155R, good bike
Here in Viet Nam its not 2100 but 3100€ for this bike unfortunately
If I may ask, what's your height and weight?
180cm 85kg
Mine with street tire can hit 55-60km/liter if you smooth enough with the throttle
Cool, but why would you want to put street tires on it ? 🤔 it has to be going dirty muddy 😜 to be fun 🤪
@@Buledoyanmotor you know, supermoto and stuff 😀
Yeah, the naked radiator n hose is vulnerable when you dropped th bike
yes indeed
But I would be ripping that awesome trail
Not when it's not your bike though 😜
@@Buledoyanmotor ohh I see😁 good video tho
how tall are you?
180cm
Hey im first
Congratulations 👏 😜
